Osteoarthritis and lupus
I was wondering if anyone here has been diagnosed with both? I have lower back pain, but never had any X-ray that shows any degenerative changes. My rheumatologist mentioned last Thursday (over a phone appointment) that he thinks it is osteoarthritis in my lower back. I have significant morning stiffness

Update on my hybrid ablation
This is just one person’s experience, and I’m told I’m a ‘difficult case’, but in the absence of any surveys or reviews, what else do we have to go on? I had a hybrid ablation in the UK in September last year. Mine was single stage, rather than the two stage version where the surgical ablation is followed

Pelvic Organ Prolapse (Rectocele) and Complications. I am only 36 😢
Suffering with pelvic organ prolapse (grade 3 rectocele). I am only 36 and have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and a mis-managed labour in 2018. I saw a hospital Doctor in December 2021 who told me I had a huge kidney infection due to the rectocele and that my GP would refer me to a gynaecologist within 2 weeks

Peer-Reviewed report by Dr Wolf (Wolf Mini Maze).
A couple of days ago, members have asked for a peer-reviewed publication regarding the success rate of the Wolf Mini Maze. The document that was cited two days ago was a generic paper about mini maze procedures, and not about the Wolf Mini Maze. There follows an extract from a review published last year

I have nodes particularly in my neck area and one in my chest that are growing slowly. Only the chest node is about 2-3". My wbc has been mainly in the high 50's, my rbc and platelets all in a good range. Lately when I go for my visits he only takes like 2 tubes of blood and does regular tests. I never

Well, It's always something new and fun
Hey All.... Well, I have PAF and had a echocardiogram the first time in some years (new cardiologist, etc). So...discovered I have mitral valve leakage (regurgitatuon). It's moderate at this point with a EF of 60%. Hope that some others may have experience with this "combo". What has your journey

First post here (36M) - my story and questions
About 15 years ago (age 21) at the University, I first started having atrial fib episodes. They would last for several hours and then resolve on their own. The episodes became more and more frequent, until I was having them about once a month. I basically just sat on the couch and waited until they

Hello my lovely ladies hope you are all well and enjoying some nice weather wherever you are 🌻🤗❤️🍀🌞 I'm on clexane for the first time and it stings so bad once injected. I guess due to being on aspirin and blood thinners too I bruise so much. I didn't get a single bruise when I was stimming but now

Help, losing hope, What next? 2nd IVF failure negative 6dp5dt
I am loosing all hope and really don’t know what to do next. We had a second FET last Sunday with a single PGS tested hatching embryo and the first response test today is absolutely negative. With our first IVF, positive started to show 5dp5dt but it ended in a chemical. As I always have some fluids

Blood thinners?
I would like to know if everyone diagnosed with paroxysmal afib is on blood thinners? My EP wants me to start taking xeralto but I am reluctant (reason is a liver leason) however I am on baby aspirin. My afib episodes are short, couple of minutes only but I have ectopics a lot. My doc's explanation

Inconsistency in pill sizes
I perhaps naively thought that pills of one type were the same size and shape. Wrong! My latest 100mcg T4 tabs are bigger than anything I’ve ever had in 40 years with well defined line for splitting them. I’ve also had 25 mcg which have been bigger than 100 mcg. ! Weird but now I’m on new meds and

Urgent surgery needed - what happened because I was on anticoagulant
On Tuesday 5th April I awoke in the early hours of the morning with severe stomach pains and feeling sick. Things got worse and at 8.30 my hubby rang for an ambulance. He was told that it would be a 2 to 2 1/2 hour wait and ambulance arrived after 2 hours. Pain was terrible and my heart rate was
