I am having different investigations being done, one of them is Cardioversion, after I have been on blood thinners for a month.

Can anyone tell me what to expect please as someone I know who had it done said they don’t do them anymore !

Hi. They certainly do still do cardioversions. My husband had one a few weeks ago. He has persistent AF & heart failure. He was told that the CV was successful, & touchwood his heart has been in normal rhythm since. His BP however has risen slightly since. He has a follow up cardiology appointment tomorrow, it could be he needs his meds adjusting again now. Good luck & best wishes to you.

Thank you, I hope everything goes well for him,i suppose it’s al trial and error.I am hoping I won’t need to have it done if things settle.

I have to have a 24 hour tape and a Cardiac MRI done so there is a lot going on.
