Advice please, on two cancelled cycles
Thanks to everyone on here, would appreciate any advice.I have cancelled my second IVF cycle due to poor response to meds. First cycle was short protocol, Menopur and Cyclogest resulted in two follicles of required size. As I am 40 consultant suggested to cancel and try again on what I thought would

Worrying test results & a rant
I’m about to start IVF and just has my day 3 tests repeated - came back as through the roof AMH (115 pmol) and high estradiol (397). My latest ultra sound also showed signs of polycycstic ovaries (>40 AFC) I was told in January my AMH was low at 6 and my AFC was 14… my AFC then came up as 40 on a test

Tommy’s miscarriage testing
Hi all, Thinking of getting my doctor to do a Tommy’s referral for my recurrent miscarriages. They don’t put much on their website about the blood tests they do to help pinpoint a problem. Can anyone who has seen them for early recurrent loss and implantation failure give me an idea of the blood tests

STILL ON THE BED, STILL TRYING TO DEAL WITH OUR FLAILING MED SYSTEM - NO ANSWERS
Ok. Been putting off writing because it's going to be long. Rheumy still hasn't gotten back to me on CT scan done July 6. Hips screaming. Shoulders tolerable. Why has she not? She is only in the clinic 1 day/week now. Next appt. She set for me is Oct. 3! This from their nursing line who advised me to

ivf experiences
I have had two rounds of IUI last year which were unsuccessful and one unsuccessful round of ivf. That cycle I had 7 eggs and 3 fertilised as normal and only one was valid but had not completed blastocyst. I am now on my second round of ivf and sounded promising this time. My medication has changed

anti d late…
My midwife is anything but dynamic and hasn’t bothered to book my anti d injection despite knowing it was coming up to being due… she even mentioned it at the last appointment. Anyway, transpires she hasn’t booked and now the hospital are saying they have no appointments for at least another fortnight

Stage 4 Endo and IVF success
hi everyone, I have stage 4 endometriosis and have been trying for a baby for the past year unsuccessfully. I have a blocked tube, tilted uterus and now apparently diminished egg reserve. We finally had an nhs fertility appointment and was told we meet the criteria for funded ivf. But my blood

Rheumatologist refuse to believe I have PMR.
They choose not to provide me any more prednisone. I have been off for a week now. Many of the physical symptoms have returned since being off. I was hoping the increase of systematic inflammation was due to a chronic tooth infection, and not to say it may not have influenced, but I cannot deny the fact

Bleeding during tww/progesterone?
Hey everyone. Is bleeding during the TWW actually linked to low progesterone? Can't find any conclusive evidence. Was on cyclogest 2 X 400mg prior to embryo transfer and continued until 10dp5dt as I came on my period. The clinic doesn't test progesterone and won't up the dose for the next round

Systemic enzymes
Does anyone know if systemic enzymes, like Wobenzym, are bad for those with kidney disease. They are to reduce joint pain and inflammation, but I am wondering if they are as bad as nsaids. I have been taking some every day for years, but now I am 3a kd. Hard to find any answers to that question

2 rounds of ICSI both low fertilisation and failed
Hi, I am hoping someone will have similar experience and be able to advise. We had our first ICSI in 2020, we were told to do ICSI as my husbands morphology was low. I’ve had a fertility check were they deemed everything was ok with me, tubes fine and good AMH for my age - I am 34 now. We went straight

Unable to have a second baby (6 egg collections - no blastocyst)
I am looking for some support from anyone that has been or is in the same situation I am in as I am really struggling. We are so blessed to have a daughter. She was ICSI after 3 eggs collections and only one blastocyst make, and that is her. A true miracle. I have just had 6 egg collections, (back

Any IVF success stories with own eggs at 45years?
Hi all, I am thinking of doing my last ever cycle, I'm 45 years and low AMH. I already have a son through IVF (3yrs) but seeing as this may be my last chance I was wondering if anyone has had any success? I have been told that it has a chance of 2% success. Am I crazy to try again? I really dont have

Made the decision to move onto DE 😊
We had the follow up appointment this morning after our disastrous last cycle ending in no transfer. Our consultant spelled it out to us, another attempt would likely give a less than 10% chance of success, so it was obvious. We’ve spoken briefly about moving onto DE before but now we know it’s time.

Embryo banking (+low AMH) - recommendations
Hello, I’m undergoing treatment because I have a luteal phase defect and low AMH (6.2 at age 33) and I’m about to move from on medicated cycles to IVF. Given my low AMH, I plan to do a few embryo banking cycles + PGT-A testing before transfers. I’m currently based on Surrey and my closest clinic is

Creation of embryo using own eggs aged 44??
I just had my first ivf consultation Thursday and despite having amazing egg reserve ( AMH 18.3) and the consultant counting 20 follicles he said our best chance is donor egg due to downs and Edwards killing my last two babies ( Our first baby wasn't tested). We have no children and have lost 3 in a

blood tests
hi everyone. Hope you’re all ok 🥰 I’m changing clinics and preparing for my 3rd round, tomorrow I have bloods - so the usual AMH, FSH etc - is there anything else I should request? I was thinking testosterone for maybe taking DHEA. Thanks all xx
