About 'good' oils for NASH and NAFLD
I haven't been officially diagnosed, but believe this is my issue and has been for some time. I am going to overhaul diet and do what I can.... but I have a question about oils. I know all veg canola etc must be avoided. High quality olive oil is on your list to take daily. What about coconut oil

Hashimoto's and not feeling better
Hi there! I'm wondering if it is possible to just never feel better (lethargic, mentally slow, unable to concentrate/difficulty reading, fatigued, short of breath, etc) when having hashimoto's? Like do some people just feel bad for their entire life despite doing all the right things? I know other people

Steroids and your serotonin
I'm talking about serotonin not melatonin. Just something nice figured I would ask and see if you run into the same problem I did. I was prescribed steroids to hold me over until I start my new medicine. I haven't been on steroids for a long time and so I was able to go through a situation I wasn't

Supplements -so much information
Hi all I know that we need to take vitamin D as those of us who are light sensitive and stay out of the sun need this, however there is also lots of other suggestions on the internet. I do have inflammatory arthritus and many sites suggest turmeric, other sites suggest fish oil and omega 3. So, for

Can anyone recommend essential oils for depression, sleep difficulty and /or pain?
My wife has problems with depression and sometimes sleep difficulty and is taking medicine (she has thyroid problems as well). In addition to this, sometimes I massage her with natural hemp seed oil, which she found to be useful even for any aches and pain. However, I am finding it difficult to find

Don't lose heart - you'll come through
Meant to write this for ages. This forum really helped 3-4 years ago when I got VERY ill & low, lost my job & livelihood, fell out with my family & became very unstable. I'm still on a low dose of carbimazole & still not back to pre-illness energy levels but thankfully I am SOOO much better! Bizarre

Just an update on how hubby is doing. He is feeling better than he has been for years! Something seems to have had a positive effect and he is positively energetic and laughing and talking and back to helping with housework, and joining in with the family. He has even got into our spa pool with me that
