How do I cope with exhaustion & chest pain?
I’ve had CT scans, stress tests, ultrasound, and an
angioplasty
in which no major blockages were found. I’m told I’m on the max dose of stations, & BP meds. My cardio recently declared that it may be small vessel disease, for which I read there is no cure.

Fistulagram
My fistula was created on Dec 22 and at my last doc visit (Feb 15) he noted that it hasn't grown as much as he'd like, so the fistulagram and maybe
angioplasty
to make it grow enough to use. I'm not sure what all is entailed but it sounds painful. Has anyone had one done?

angioplasty with stent
had stent put in rca on Tuesday . The pain in my arm is horrendous and hot to the touch . Is this to be expected with the trauma ? And the acid reflux is quite bad . Reading up on it could be side effect to clipidogrel . Any here had similar issues

Magnesium Glycinate & Selenium - ok to take with post HA meds?
Hi I take the supplements shown above, and was wondering if it was safe for me to do so following HA and
angioplasty
last September. I presently take the meds shown below, and I was wondering about any possible negative interaction. If anyone has any info to share I’d really appreciate hearing it.

A bit of a shocker
'as he (me) has a small focal dissection in the lower aorta which might be prejudiced by any instrumentation during
angioplasty
' Alarm bells going off all over the place in my head. Even the briefest of searches of Dr Google indicates that this is not good.

possible familial cardiac problems.
Well he had his second stage 2 stent
angioplasty
today, 8 weeks after his HA and first 2 stents. He still has severe left ventricular dysfunction but is feeling more positive at last. He’s even got dates for cardiac rehabilitation too.

after heart attack, waiting for more stents - advice needed
My husband had emergency
angioplasty
with 2 stents following heart attack, just over 2 weeks ago. He needs a further 1-2 stents, and was told they’d be done within 3-4 weeks, so can’t start cardiac rehab until they’re done.

Post angioplasty side effects
Just had third heart attack which required another stent and during that significant disease was noticed in lad so had 2 stents in there a few days later , previous episodes in 2013 and 2020 resulted in no side effects at all after the procedure, however this time I find myself having palpitations from

angioplasty
I am 66 I am going for an
angioplasty
on the 27th November with the possibility of a stent in LAD. Very nervous. I have had LBBB since in my early 30’s so always got a slight tight chest on hills, i had an angiogram in 2012 and an MRI I was put on Bisoprolol, statins and ramipril after this.

"I Walked Out One Summer's Morning"
Instead of a day in hospital and an
angioplasty
it became three months and an amputation! I have only seen my house once since walking to the taxi when a friend took me for a drive by.

Chest pain and using the GTN spray
I am now 5 weeks in after a heart attack which came completely out of the blue and then
angioplasty
with aortic stent. I have had chest pain ever since which is generally mild but can get stronger (it can come on at anytime whether I am exercising or not and can last for an hour or more).

ECG not recording heart blockage
Once on the ward another ECG was taken and more bloods - nothing showed up but my body was going into shock so I was monitored overnight and listed the following day to have the
angioplasty
to sort out my LCX .

Common Femoral Artery and Iliac angiogram & angioplasty
Hi I wonder if anyone else in this forum has had ongoing issues from a Common Femoral Artery and Iliac angiogram &
angioplasty
. I had both legs done in April of last year (10 months ago) and whilst the right leg seems to be 99% ok the left one isn’t.

JOINiNG THE DOTS - JUST A THOUGHT 🤔
In the summer of 2023 I underwent various heart tests and was told I had needed
angioplasty
and stenting. On the day of the procedure things didn't go to plan, the stenting did not happen because of the extent of the stenosis, in various places.

Microvascular disgnosis
This has left me rather upset and I’m unsure why I’m being referred when I thought the stress
angioplasty
was good to diagnose?

High Calcium score
I had my angiogram and
angioplasty
in Sepember. I turns out that only my RCA needed stenting, it took 5 inflation of the balloon and a large stent was fitted.

Feeling emotional
When I was back in the ward after my
angioplasty
and stent, I phoned my husband to tell him what had happened. He then asked me if I wanted him back immediately. I realised he didn't want to be rushing back so I told him I was fine and to come back once he'd sorted his work stuff.
