Trying to cope after HA
here with 2 stents and a balloon
angioplasty
on my LAD. Apparently due to my age and lack of apparent risk factors, ,my case was pretty unusual and discussed within the cardio team.

Atorvastatin 80mg – Pause for 4 weeks
On 6th admission, they done one more
angioplasty
and put a 2nd stent in one of smaller artery. But the pain I was experienced never went away. It is always same pain, which come with any upper bidy exercise or walking. But when I use bicycle or exercise bike, I am completely fine.

Just to say I'm not going anywhere!!
I've only been a member for 5 months, I joined in a panic one night to express my feelings/fears the day I'd been discharged from hospital following an
angioplasty
, the replies I received were really beneficial and helped me greatly.

6 days post 3 Stents
Advice please post
angioplasty
(3 stents) 6 days ago. I’m having more pain now than I had before I went to the doctors in the first place. Is this normal? I have an appointment tomorrow and shall mention it, but I’m feeling a little anxious as to why I feel more pain than I ever have up to now.

Painful arm post angioplasty
I had
angioplasty
last Friday with two stents fitted. I have a very bruised arm from wrist to above the elbow. Today, out of the blue my forearm went into a very painful spasm /cramp. Still painful after two hours. Cardio nurse says take painkiller. Has anyone else experienced this?

Angioplasty
Due to have
angioplasty
in 10 days. I have a blocked LAD but my heart has done 2 by passes, to help, but they haven’t quite done the job. Exercise test showed st depression. Cardiologist is going to try and poke a way through, and stent the LAD. Anyone had anything similar.

LAD Artery
My cardiologist only verbalised during the angiogram that one of my arteries was 90% blocked so needed
angioplasty
and stent. Hadn’t verbalised which artery and in my naivety didn’t know that one artery may have been more important than any other.

Once again I'm praising the NHS
I had a HA and
angioplasty
four months ago and apart from a couple of hiccups life has been good.

Happy and blessed
Having consulted my GP I was seen quickly by a cardio nurse and then an
angioplasty
was performed in August which resulted in my diagnosis and need for urgent surgery. I would strongly recommend anyone , regardless of age, condition and fitness to have their heart checked on a regular basis .

Peripheral arterial disease-angioplasty?
She was offered an
angioplasty
but there are a few blockages and Dr didn't say for sure it'd work or could also even make it worse. The word amputation was even mentioned which is just terrifying.

Angina?
I had an
angioplasty
they could not fit stents because the artery was too wide. So they cleared the clot and now I take anticoagulants etc I have seen cardiologists but they don't think it's angina. I had an angiogram in June and the arteries are clear.

That's been a good day👍
It's 16 weeks since my HA and
angioplasty
, today I had a follow up appointment with the cardiologist at Scarborough Hospital. I was well impressed, my appointment was scheduled for 9.00am, I arrived 15 minutes early....before 9.00am I'd had my BP taken, been weighed and had an ECG.

Arm pain after angioplasty
10 days after my
angioplasty
and my bruised arm/wrist is blue instead of the black it was after the procedure. However, the pain hasn't subsided at all and in fact is worse, I can't even brush my teeth without having to stop for a minute or two.

She said based on my history and family history it was best to have an Angiogram to see what was happening, The plan was to have me taken to the teaching hospital where they do
angioplasty
so if I needed stents they would do it all in one go.

Statins and leg cramps/ pain
I was put on 80mg Atorvastatin after having
Angioplasty
but because of severe leg cramps and discomfort, after 8 months I have been prescribed 40mg of Simvastatin statins. I am now getting a lot of discomfort in my legs at night, sometimes a kind of burning sensation and aches.

Chest pain post angioplasty/stenting
Hi all, So I had a stent fitted (LAD) to open up a narrowing in my artery on Friday morning. Have been experiencing off and on chest pain. Not too intense. More mild to moderate pain on left side of chest. Just wondering how common chest discomfort is post procedure. It could be settling in pain where
