Recommendation for b12 supplement -feeling overwhelmed
What are you recommendation to start vit b12 supplements? Forum advised me to start with b12 and add B complex after a few weeks. Have I got that right? I’m currently awaiting results from GP on antibody test for B12. I’m not sure what is being tested exactly. And because I’ve been waiting so long

First blood results in - can you help me understand them?
Hello I started with symptoms in Nov & started carbizamole 1x10mg in Jan, with 10mg x 2 a day. Drs blood test confirmed over active thyroid & this was followed up at the hospital last week. Got my hospital results back but no idea what they mean. I’m also getting some private tests done. These were

My cousin has just been diagnosed with Pernicious
Anaemia
and our shared Great Grandfather also had it. She has all the typical symptoms, including pins and needles, however, my symptoms don't include dizziness or pins and needles.

Does a TSH of 5.16 mean that I have mild hypothyroidism?
Hello, I'm new to the thyroid group, but am a member of the pernicious
anaemia
group. I'm in the US. About 6 months ago, I asked for my thyroid to be tested, because often times people with PA also have other autoimmune issues like thyroiditis or hashimoto's. My TSH is 5.16.

Interesting?
Am currently going through yet another bout of
anaemia
coupled with another bout of microscopic colitis, so as you may imagine even just typing this is pretty difficult. I wondered if anyone else had come across this?

Displaying signs of anemia but bloods are negative.
I've attached the rest of my blood results that were delayed. (Had to reply to myself because I don't know how to add more than one). My doctor said that she can't see anything wrong in my blood tests, but I'm experiencing signs of anemia. I forgot to mention in my original post that the whites of my

Pressure in head
Is this a b12 thing? I've been injecting for a few months. Methylcobalamin. I have ME and have had a pressure in my forehead feeling on and off for years, e.g. I rest my forehead against kitchen cupboards for relief... Washing up is a good opportunity! But now that's got more continuous, and all over

17 hour flight
I have been invited to a wedding in Louisiana later this year. My RLS is still problematic but manageable at home with Buprenorphine and Pregabalin and walking around / standing up. I am doubtful about the 17 hours flights. I can't ever remember going that long without several attacks of RLS. I've

TKR post op review
We were obviously there for hours where I was diagnosed with
anaemia
and postural hypertension. Six hours and no painkillers as we’d left home early and thought we’d be straight back. Since then my walks have lengthened though very slow (the dog is exasperated!)

On iron supplements but my ferritin did not increase
I started having a lot of symptoms of iron deficiency last year after correcting my long term B12 deficiency: dry mouth, palpitations, muscle twitches. It is possible that my iron had been low for a long time and I just didn't notice because my B12 had also been low. I started taking iron supplements

mental health and pernicious anaemia
Hi all, my partner has pernicious
anaemia
,she is 38 and has been diagnosed for about 6 years. she has injections every 6 weeks. We are having real struggles in our relationship. I believe allot of her anxiety, mood swings, controlling behaviour, intensity is caused by her PA.

Hello. I’m new here.
Hello RLS forum. I’m new here. I’m already learning a lot from reading your posts and responses. I could quickly tell that it is mostly women on this forum. It is a kinder and gentler place than the Parkinson’s forum with predominately older men. What a relief! I have anxiety which is greatly worsened
