Pressure in head

Is this a b12 thing? I've been injecting for a few months. Methylcobalamin. I have ME and have had a pressure in my forehead feeling on and off for years, e.g. I rest my forehead against kitchen cupboards for relief... Washing up is a good opportunity! But now that's got more continuous, and all over my head too (kind of the top half). increasingly over the last few weeks it feels like the blood vessels in my head are contracted / constricted, my head feels tight of that makes sense. I feel a bit of relief from cold water immersion.

what is ME? I’ve never had any symptoms like this with B12 deficiency. Can’t speak for others.

Talk do a doc, could it be encephalitis?

" Myalgic encephalomyelitis" or chronic fatigue syndrome.

In my experience its been an ongoing symptom that has gradually improved over time.

I felt and still do at times my spectacles ( prescription) are like mental clamps on my face like a vice.

My Scalp super sensitive too.

Washing my hair gives some relief.

Not sure if it's the water or the massage or both.

Moving the skin on my Scalp firmly with fingertips helps.

Also a towel turbin tight on my head helps.

It's horrible and can go into a headache or tinnitus goes up or vision unpaired.

Must be nerves across our faces and skull .

Eyelids can feel 'sticky and heavy ( not actudly sticky making me feel dopey and detached.

All i csn say is its improved over time and sometimes nearly not there .

Some things havde gone like numb patches on my face .

Crawling skin.

Continuous headaches/ migraine used to be there at the beginning.

Tinnitus i notice if not there.

I was told continues 'nuchal ' muscles contracting by one neurologist .

Why???

One of many neurological symptoms.

Mine perhaps triggered by vertigo at the start.

Or a fall.

Last two events finale of b12 deficiency symptoms that finally got attention from a Gp.

Yes and it is getting less of an issue with supplementation.

yes, lying down is painful so hard to get rest sometimes, hair roots very sensitive, facial skin feels super sensitive to temperature changes and draughts (of which plants in my old house!). Also my teeth get achy and tinnitus very loud

It comes and goes but hopefully will eventually disappear all together.

I find a cold compress on the back of my head just above my neck can give some relief.

It’s a weird feeling but I tell myself it must be a good sign that things are mending.

Hope you feel better soon.

A few times in the past I’ve felt a build up of pressure in my head and I’d describe it as you say - that the blood vessels are constricted for a few seconds. (But not longer or continuous) It made me feel quite panicky - as if it didn’t stop I didn’t know would happen. Fortunately it was always fleeting, not sure if it was related to stress and it doesn’t seem to happen now that I’ve been taking b12 and sorted myself out a bit mentally.

It did occur to me that it could be a spike in blood pressure. Although generally my blood pressure is quite normal.

That's good it doesn't seem to happen now. Mine's continuous (for a couple / few hours) as opposed to spikey

Maybe it’s a sort of prelude to a migraine, but doesn’t reach that point?
