High neutrophil countš±
My wife's last blood test showed her platelets were up at @800 And her neutrophil count at over 70, her Hgb was 116, hematocrit was 0.38 which is high for her, but as it was only three weeks since she had three units of packed red cells and a bag of iron, that was expected. I was diagnosed with Pernicious
Anaemia
(currently on B12 injections) in July this year and have had vitiligo for over 20 years. One of the blood test done was for TPO antibodies with were 78 which apparently had been at around this mark since 2021 at least.

low iron and tremor
I have been tremoring for the last month and today my GP freaked out at my very low normal iron blood level. He said I eat meat so he can't understand why it's so low. Anyway, I checked with Google and low iron can cause tremors so I hope this is what is wrong and I will supplement with iron tablets

From oxy to buprenorphine
I had my iron levels tested and all is good, not a candidate for infusion. Dr. Buchfuhrer suggested I switch from oxycodone to buprenorphine and tonight I did. Was nervous to go off of Oxy as it worked, but I noticed it was wearing off earlier and earlier. At 5 mg three times a day, I didnāt want

Help with results please
Hello, Just trying to work out if thyroid looks ok please and doesn't need any further investigation? I know I'm iron deficient with a low ferritin level but have been supplementing for 8 weeks now and have got up from 8 ug/L to 31 ug/L and am no longer anaemic either as Hb has raised a little too

PA and oral B12 supplements
I have recently been diagnosed with PA and Iāve had an initial booster course of 6x B12 injections with a plan for 3 monthly injections for life (based, I understand, on local UK NHS protocols, or how my GP has interpreted them). I was therefore wondering if there is any benefit in taking oral B12

Clarification of blood results
Hi Could anyone give me some clarity on my
anaemia
test results received today. Test was done by Monitor My Health but no reference ranges included so all components just say "normal" which is very uninformative and irritating. I know from this forum results need to be optimal.

Help with next appointment following loading doses
Following a B12 of 194ng/L (187 - 883) in August, in Sept it was 208. MMA and Folate both ānormalā but Homocysteine was slightly above range so I have been given 6 loading doses and daily Folic Acid. (I donāt have the actual results other than the B12). I didnāt have any really noticeable response

Changing from hydroxy to Analgride
Following post from 10 days ago, when I was taken off hydroxy due to
anaemia
, I had appt. today, & will be having another bone marrow check, & possibly blood transfusion shortly. Looks as though I,ll be going onto Analgride instead. Can I ask people please how they found this changeover?
