T4/T3 struggle
I’m writing this because I can’t seem to lose weight since I was diagnosed/put on medication 2 years ago. I was at least 15kg less before medication. I keep gaining despite eating clean. I am on 75mcg levo and about 3mcg of Cytomel. (I weigh 88kg) I gained most of the weight since I started Cytomel

I have not been feeling too great and have had my thyroid checked, t4 and t3 are now all normal and back to my 175 a day. Still not been well really bad tummy aches, back ache, really struggling with aches in my muscles etc. Had more blood tests lately, they said to check bones. Doctor rang yesterday

Hashimoto's blood test and cortisol tests
I have been asked by my GP Surgery to provide them with the list of blood tests I believe are correct for a patient with Hashimoto's. I don't seem to be able to find it. Would someone be kind enough to show me where I may find it please? Is it the same as under active blood test or are there 'extras'

Anyone been prescribed T3 by endo in Leeds? I need to advise my son's partner. Please send a pm (chat) to me.
Good morning, can I pick your brains? My son's partner has Hashimoto's and still has symptoms despite normal blood test results and I'm urging her to request a referral to an endocrinologist for a trial of T3. She is new to hypothyroidism and her fT4 and fT3 results indicate she is a poor converter,

Blood Test Results
Hello again, I have just had a full blood test ( T3 not tested of course). I wondered if anyone could give me some advice please. I was hoping to increase my T4 but Dr wanted to do a blood test first Currently taking 75mg (but I have increased this amount myself to 100mg) so these are results based

Introduced T3, feeling exhausted & gaining weight
Hello there, I've been introducing T3 slowly since Feb 24 - started 5mcg for 6 weeks then up to 7.5mcg and now 10 mcg per day. Also taking levo - started at 137.5mcg, then when I introduced T3 (and T4 went down), endo increased levo to 150, and then 6 weeks later T4 still too low, increased levo to

Curious about PBC symptoms and LFTs at Diagnosis
Hello Everyone, I am new to the group and I was recently diagnosed with PBC and I was wondering if anyone could share what symptoms they might have been experiencing when they first were diagnosed with PBC. I know from doing some research, that "intense" itching is mentioned as well as elevated LFTs

Does anyone take a diuretic to help with water retention?
I have for many years suffered from painful water retention in my buttocks and legs. I am also unable to pinch the skin on my upper arms. Ive recently been prescribed a diuretic to see if this will help. Do others have a similar issue? Or is it a sign that I’m still under medicated? My legs are painful

Thoughts on T3 dosing please.
I take T4, alternating days with 100 and 125ug. Also T3 15ug each day. All in one go at 5am (I set an alarm). I know you guys have said consistency is key with T3, because it has a short half life. However quartering the tablets to get 15ug (3/4 of a tablet) is awkward. So I was thinking, cogitating

T4 high range advice please
Hi I’m just looking for some advice please these are my latest results. As you will see T4 always seems to be in the higher range whilst T3 the lower end of the range. Just wondering if a small amount of Liothyronine were to be added how does it actually work? For example would it raise T3 whilst lowering

Completely lost
I’m 72 & in general good health (I think) except for Osteopenia and that I inherited Restless Legs from my mum. I started on .25mg Ropinirole 7 years ago which was like magic but it’s slowly increased to 3x.25mg per night. Perhaps not a big dose but I learned via this site it’s best to switch from Ropinirole

Blood test interpretation
Hallo everyone, I requested a blood test to cover a number of things - not sure this one covers everything or maybe there's more to come. I wonder if anyone might be willing or have the time to help with interpretation. ESR looks OK - I requested CRP as well but doesn't appear to be there unless I
