Advice please, as these sensations are just unbearable and I feel like amputation rather then starting medication. Regards Ali

The word amputation was even mentioned which is just terrifying. She has decided against the angioplasty because you have to keep your leg straight and this will be incredibly painful. Does anyone know if there are things they can do for this like a sedative or epidural?

Just kidding, new here and been reading a lot so thank you all. Been on ropinirole for 3/4 years now and it's not as effective (augmentation), so decided to come off it. A few weeks ago reduced from 1mg to 0.5mg for 2 weeks. Then I stopped, well I've not slept for 6 nights now and going out my mind.

After my amputation I was again anaemic. Running a serious infection I was not paying to much attention as my medication was tweaked. Anyway nearly a year later I was still on them but found out they had been prescribed for three months and reviewed following a blood test.

After last year's unexpected BKA (below knee amputation) I obviously needed help to move forward. However before my rehab was complete the social worker had me shipped to a care home under the looming CovID crisis. I am still there ging ever more stir crazy.
