Thank You
I am so grateful to you all for your encouraging responses to my first post. The plethora of advice and information you have shared will help me improve both my vitamin levels and my chances of having my dose increased from the current 25mcg I am taking. I am already taking many of the supplements mentioned

Buspirone causing pins and needle feeling all over body
Hello Everyone, How is it going? I am needing advice about buspirone. I recently have been switched from a very low dose of Sertraline to Buspirone 15 mg a half a pill twice a day. I have been on the buspirone for almost a month now...and just been weaned off of the Sertraline (half of 25 mg pill). I

Post AVR and blood pressure.
Hi, I'm five months post AVR and mostly doing well. When I was discharged I wasn't taking any of my previous medication for high blood pressure. Great, I thought, it must have been the stenosed bicuspid old valve that was making my blood pressure rise. My blood pressure has gradually risen again to higher

Hello there, my wife has a/f and her body doesn’t tolerate it too good as she gets short of breath on exertion and stairs can be an issue, she is 50 years of age. I can't cry or shed tears!
Hello Everyone, I have a great concern about my eyes. I can't seem to cry at all or shed any tears! That worries me so much! I used to be able tp cru when I felt the need to do so but now I can't. My eyes seem dry...very dry! I didn't have this problem until I started taking and stopping that beta blocker

Thank you to everyone.
Hi all. I want to thank all those of you who replied to my post a couple of months ago after I was diagnosed with AF. Apart from the usual AF symptoms, I was suffering from frequent & severe 'bursting' sensations in the head which no one (not even the doctors) could identify. I changed the Bisoprolol

Treatment by ECP (external counterpulsation) - update
Months ago, I wrote a lengthy post extolling ECP and promised an update later. I am starting a new thread for my (again lengthy) update. Am I still glad that I had ECP? Yes! Has it completely relieved my symptoms? No! (Not yet). ECP is a non-surgical, non-pharmaceutical treatment described below

Hi everyone. As a PV patient on Rivaroxaban, Hydroxycarbamide and Amlodipine, I know we’re not allowed ibruprofen. Does anyone have experience with or know whether we can use a TENS machine for muscle pain relief? Thanks

Heart attack & 25 minuet cardiac arrest
My husband (49) had an inferior stemi out of the blue at the end of October. His right coronary artery was completely blocked, so he had an emergency stent fitted in hospital. Shortly after this he went into cardiac arrest on the Coronary Care Unit. He was shocked several times over a period of 25 minutes

I'm new here
Hello everyone, new on here and good to be in the company of folk with the same conditions, I’ve already read some very interesting stuff. I'm a 55 year old male & my first symptom was a cold finger in the summer 2015 followed by skin issues, I was feeling pretty ill by the time I was diagnosed in December

Lo Salt and equivalents
Hi, If taking Amlodipine and Candesartan to control high blood pressure, is it OK to take "Lo Salt" (the container says 66% less sodium than regular table, sea and rock salts) or the other low salt equivalents available on the market? I asked the GP but he never heard of it! When I explained what it
