Anxiety

Hi , im dealing with anxiety. I was taking amlodipine for high blood pressure. Ive never had issues taking it. But recently, i took it, it felt like it doesn't go down smoothly. So my anxiety kicks in. Im thinking, something is wrong with me. Im having these thoughts. I was fine months ago, wks. Yrs. Ive been on it for a while. I had no issues. Plus when the doc prescribes me new medications or increases, i look it up and i get afraid to take it. Does all of this sound like my anxiety?

ITS definitely anxiety,is like planting seeds in the ground only its thoughts into your subconscious which in turn starts to magnify as one fears (even swallowing a pill)whatever,;i ve been on alopedeine for at least 25yrs same HBP pill and strenghth 5mg....have been off them 3months now ..but do get anxious thoughts as I get niggly feelings and Gp.s not very understanding .Hoping your managing to take them..

Hi, yes. Im switching doctors. I messaged the nurse practitioner, she said if your having difficulty swallowing pills you should go see an ent. When she said that my anxiety went up. Ive never had issues with pills. Ive been on adhd pills since i was in elementary school. Ive been on the amplodipine for 3 yrs. But i noticed after not taking it for a few days, ive been fine, but when i did take it, i had the issue. I had no issues with the amlodipine like months ago, yrs ago. I messaged her saying my anxiety is up and im having thoughts of something is wrong with me.
