Hi guys so I was practically a wreck due to panic attacks anxiety and chronic pain but I have started duloxetine honest to god I've stopped sertraline amitriptyline and Co codamol 30/500 since I'm still not sleeping and only get 3 hours a night I don't crash either wich is a shame however my nervous

In the mean time he has prescribed Amitriptyline which I am yet to take. I’ve had bad reactions to pain killers in the past so am nervous about taking them being a single mum with a toddler incase I react.

Anyone else have problems sleeping at night on duloxetine I take 30mgs at night with amitriptyline and seem to sleep in morning most of the day any answers would be great

I have been on Amitriptyline/codeine&paracetamol,diazepam formuscle spasm flare ups .Sleep problems (thankfully I read a lot) obviously as you all know doesn’t help.

My rheumatologist has put me on 10mg a night to help reduce my prednisolone. I took my first dose last night but feeling a bit odd this morning. I wonder if I should have taken it earlier than 8.30p.m ?

Amitriptyline 10mg 2 at bedtime. Hi i would like to ask about the above medication i take each day, Is this a lot of medication for one day ??

What side affects are people experiencing taking Amitriptyline and is a particular brand more effective. Also does your pharmacy change brands? What affect does changing the brand have?

. 🤷🏻‍♂️ My GP prescribed amitriptyline 10mg twice a day. There is no pain, it is more annoying. Has anyone had anything similar? I'd be interested to here your thoughts out there.

GP said it was silent migraines and gave me Amitriptyline which I took for a few days but was so ill with heart palpitations I thought I was going to die. I have phoned my haemo Nurse for advice. Hopefully she will respond.

At the moment I take 10mg prednisone. 15 mg methotrexate, 6 x5 mg folic acid, omeprazole , calci D 20 mg amitriptyline at night and tramadol and paracetamol when I need them. My GP thinks it might be a good idea to increase my amitriptyline .

i suffer quite bad HA and this situation is really getting me down . i am on Prozac been on them since 2013 for menopausal reasons . i also take propranolol 40mg twice a day for anxiety and recently been given amitriptyline to help me sleep which they do work quite well .

Since taking the amitriptyline it was happening around once every four to five weeks. Yippee I said. Recently the amitriptyline has been making be very tired, more so than before. So I've reduced it to 2.5mg a day. About a week after doing this I felt quite ill.

The potential side affects alone on the Amitriptyline has really put me off can any help me or give me advice of what my next move is. I’ve got two boxes of Amitriptyline un-opened and no help of anyone.

I'm not sure amitriptyline is working - still wake up in night and quality of sleep (according to fitbit) is no different whether I take amitriptyline or not. Getti g really down as my husband is cross with me because of snoring: is this caused by weight or amitriptyline?

I am currently on monthly B12 injections, omprazole, sertraline, naproxyn (when I need it) and now amitriptyline, but I feel like the doctors just fob me off with more medication. Any natural treatment or remedies would be better.

So firstly I was wondering how to transition to taking it at night when I go to bed, and also if it's ok to take at the same time as amitriptyline. Secondly I wondered if taking it at bedtime might help me feel a bit more alert in the mornings when I wake up. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

I get random fainting (lasts about 5sec to 1min) and dizziness, nerve pain (I take amitriptyline for) weakness in the arms and legs, back and hip stiffness and pain, shaky hands, fatigue, pins and needles in arms and legs a-lot.

hello, Does anyone take Amitriptyline for pain relief for fibro as I have just started it, Thanks

I’ve recently been put on Amitriptyline (low dose) by my gp to try and help and have been on those for almost 6 weeks now. She has also repeated stool tests (normal) and referred me to a dietician for FODmap which I’ve been trying to follow as best I can myself but it has led to weight loss.

I take Naproxen as well and have been prescribed Amitriptyline to help me sleep but I am loathe to take it as it made me too sleepy next day.
