Hello, yes I do! I have been on it for a couple of years now. I take it for my fibromyalgia/ nerve pain.
Hello and welcome to our very friendly group amitriptyline tends to be the first go to medication most doctors prescribe for those diagnosed with Fibro. It's like everything else medication and none medication therapies don't work for everyone. It's a case of test it and see I'm afraid. Everyone reacts differently. It not one pill fits all. I do hope you find it works for you.

here is a link to some previous discussions
I have been taking it to help me sleep. The doctor did not tell me it was also for pain. However, it definitely seems to work: I don't sleep without it!
Hi yes I do, have been on it a while and it helps me with the nerve pain and sleep x
I was on it for five yrs but to severe dry mouth /dehydration I've been taken off it and I am on Gabapentin.
Yes, mainly for headaches but I find it helps with my pain levels in general
Hi Missjen, I've been on Amitriptyline for a number of years. Started on 10mg and now on 75mg taken in the evening. It definitely does help and aids sleep to some degree. I doubt that I would ever sleep if I didn't take it. Good Luck
I take Notriptyline (similar?) for migraines/post-concussion, but haven't found it changes anything about my fibro pain.
