Could Amitriptyline cause vaginal bleeding?
I've been taking
Amitriptyline
for approx 18 days and have had vaginal bleeding/spotting since being on it (well after about a week into taking them I stopped but bleeding was still minor so continued to help me sleep through pain).

Third Neurologist
He said I was very unlucky not to get on with
amitriptyline
. In the 5-10% not to tolerate. So continue with b12 injections. Not sure about drug though. Feeling weak from trials.

Diagnosis.... Or lack of.... Help 😭
In the last 14 years I've been on Fluoxetine,
Amitriptyline
, Diazepam, Paracetamol, ibuprofen, Naproxen, Codeine, Gabapantin to name but a few. Hit and miss to which has worked and when.... None of them touch the pain now AT ALL!

Migraine meds & Dry Eye
I’ve been on
Amitriptyline
for 3 years and recently developed severe dry eye due to this medication... I’ve stopped taking because of the dry eye & the fact that it always stops working/need to increase the dose.

Has anyone found Amitriptyline helps with PMR pain?
My GP has given me a prescription for 10mg of
Amitriptyline
twice a day, while I am reducing. Do you think it will help? Grateful for any comments.

Medication Q&A
Hello Fibro friends; I noticed a group of you are taking
Amitriptyline
(?) and I am not familiar with this? I have been under care with a Rheumatologist for ten years and not once has he ever prescribed this? I tried Lyrica and Savella first....not good for me!!! To say the least!

Coccydynia and Muscle Spasms in Back - Primary Raynaud's
I've been placed on Naproxen and still on the
Amitriptyline
for the pain. I'm still really struggling when I sit and lie down to get back up and I have to use something to grip on to to get back up on my feet. Some times the pain is too bad I have to get someone else to help me up very slowly.

Help I feel so lost and lonely
I had a blip where my heart started racing due to being on
Amitriptyline
. Was prescribed Propanol which has helped no end. Why I was so tired and achy was due to me being anaemic so I’ve now got iron medication. So hopefully I can return to work next week.

Pelvic Pain
Paracetamol and similar have no effect, I was prescribed
Amitriptyline
to treat nerve pain but unfortunately I couldn’t take them. I am also having a lot of issues with IBS, it seems to really flare up at lunch time no matter what I eat, once it flares up I’m in agony for hours.
