Came off the coil to try to conceive, and PMS symptoms without contraception are knocking me for six...any tips?
I'm currently: taking
amitriptyline
at night for pain, iron, folic acid multi vit, cucurmin for inflammation and on a version of the endo diet. Really feel like the minera coil kept me hormonally level and now all out of whack, but obviously am trying to hopefully conceive so can't go back.

Amitriptyline causing steady increase of spots
Has anyone else sufferd terrible spots and it of them on
amitriptyline
? Every week I'm getting covered more and more. The obvious would be to stop taking them but have to taper off slowly and just wondering if anyone has had the same issue? Thanks in advance kat.

Simvastatin-induced erythromelalgia: less is more.
Although the description was classic of erythromelalgia, the lack of familiarity of the disorder caused considerable doctor's delay as well as the erroneous advice to start pain killers and
amitriptyline
. However, empirical discontinuation of simvastatin made all symptoms disappear.

GP wants me to stop my Citalopram
Hi everyone, I am a long term user of Citalopram and I also take
Amitriptyline
to treat nerve pain in my feet. Recent ECGs have shown a long QT caused, my GP says, by this combination of medication. I halved my dose of
Amitriptyline
and my ECG was normal but my nerve pain returned.

Stomach strain
The GP prescribed
amitriptyline
30mg which doesn’t seem to work. I’m getting a bit worried about the effects on my body these attacks are having as when they happen I feel like something inside me is about to rupture. I’m sorry for sounding so melodramatic!

The invisible disease
I sleep because of the
Amitriptyline
, it also helps mentally to stay positive. I also take Hydroxychloroquine, (side effects - amongst others - can include irritability, muscle pain and potential eye problems).

Amitriptyline, does it help?
Has anyone been given
Amitriptyline
for Endo and bowel pain? My gynaecology prescribed it previously and I took it for a couple of days but it made me feel terrible. She has referred me to a gastroenterologist as she thinks the Endo may be in the bowel.

Has anyone had PCS, associated migraine diagnosis and amytryptaline ‘scrip?
Hi there, 9 months in neurologist says car accident caused PCS migrainous symptoms And recommends
amitriptyline
. I’m very reluctant, know it can often have Unpleasant side-effects including weight gain and anxiety. But I am having to lead a hermit like existence which is doing my head in!

Thyroid treatment kicking off withdrawal
Basically i've had a dreadful time getting off
amitriptyline
, as i proved to be terribly sensitive to it. It took 5 years, i kid you not, including some truly awful bouts of withdrawal.
