Help with diagnosing gut issues that suddenly started 18 months ago - Related to sub-optimal B12?
My gastro thought it might be that and I've tried 3 weeks of
Amitriptyline
. I felt horrible on it. All the side effects and my symptoms are not getting better, but probably getting worse.

Testosterone-based treatments for endo
I also take co-codamol when the pain gets too much and in the night when the pain is bad I take
amitriptyline
before bed. I now get pain on right side as well as left, which travels down my leg.

pain sensitisation, linking it to my adhd
My specialist physio wanted to put me on a low dose of
Amitriptyline
because he believed I was having pain sensitisation. I resisted at first because he didn’t explain it very well and I didn’t want to take more drugs (I take 20mg LA Rubifen and top up with 5mg tabs every day).

CBD UK recommendations?
I do already take
amitriptyline
for the pains but need something else alongside it. Ideally something not too expensive (I am a full time artist but certainly not on a full time wage 😅) Thanks so much for any help!

Sciatica appointment
I can’t see there are any interactions with the
amitriptyline
and prednisolone. Any thoughts would be welcome

Amitriptyline & dementia
Morning 🌼 I have just had a note put on my notes for
Amitriptyline
saying use should be at lowest does due to the risk of dementia. It said something about the anticholinergic burden scale. I'm really scared. Is anyone else aware of this? Thank you!

Morning arrhythmia for a few hours
I recently upped my dose of
Amitriptyline
for nerve pain to 15mg which coincided with morning palpitations (recorded as unclassified@ 150 on my Kardia)particularly whilst showering or brushing teeth or even just walking to the bathroom. My EP wants me to change bisoprolol to Sotalol bd.

Issues only on right side
I'm trialling
amitriptyline
but can only manage 5mg per day without it badly affected my brain. I just get so muddled and tired on it.

Pain after surgery
I’ve rang up the GP and I feel like I’ve been palmed off again with
Amitriptyline
as painkillers and the hospital still hasn’t called me back after surgery. I’ve got a letter in the post saying they will call but they haven’t. I’m still in a lot of endometriosis pain, I don’t know what else to do.

Life with fibro
After alot of phone calls to the Dr's surgery he upped my
amitriptyline
to 40mg and gave me gabapentin I've just started the gabapentin so unsure whether there going to help. I'm hoping so coz my life has been turned upside down since I started to feel ill.

Taking amitriptyline for the first time
For those of you who find
amitriptyline
helps, how long did it take for you to see some pain relief?
