Giddiness
I am on 2.5mg bispoprolol and 200mg
amiodarone
daily. Have always taken them in the morning but thought today I'd leave it until this afternoon. Just had a very short walk and had to stop regularly and hold onto the wall because my head was spinning. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tinnitus?
I have a question going out there to anyone - I have been on
amiodarone
, metoprolol and Entresto for the AF and it's working fine. I just had an ankle replacement and am on other meds such as oxycodone.

Anyone else have liver damage caused by Amiodarone?
When I saw Cardiologist a week later he did not think it was the
Amiodarone
causing the liver problems but another drug (a NOAC) so I continued the
Amiodarone
.

Anyone in South East England to meet up or volunteer with me?
I have now just started on
Amiodarone
as the last alternative to take for only a few months prior to the ablation. You can imagine my nervousness with this drug! Fingers crossed short-term use does not cause any problems in the meantime! Needless to say, I have some anxiety over this condition.

Thank you!
One of you said that the
Amiodarone
eventually caused you to develop Hyperthyroiditis. Do you feel that in balance that's 'ok' because of the help the drug gave you? Have any of you tried acupuncture? There's supposed to be a positive result from stimulating the Neiguan spot.

Do I need a referral to an EP
I have converted within 48 hours with
Amiodarone
drip and and was taking 3.75 mg of Nebivolol per day . After my last event the registrar ( I have a different consultant every time) has changed me to 2.5 mg Bisoprolol and 5 mg x 2 Apixaban.

Hello everyone - just joined your community
I've been given
Amiodarone
and Eliquis, but, to be honest, I'm a bit anxious about taking them because of the possible side effects - I don't want to develop an extra thing on top of what I already have! I'm sure that some of you feel/have felt the same way so I'd love your feedback, please. P.S.

Continue meds after successful CV?
Hubby had successful
Amiodarone
assisted DCCV in Nov 16. Has now been off
amiodarone
since Feb 17 and in NSR since. He is taking ramiprl (to support heart not due to blood pressure), diltiazem and apixaban. What does the forum think about continuing meds when in NSR?

Exogenous T3 toxicosis following consumption of a contaminated weight loss supplement
Historically there had never been any
amiodarone
usage. Radionucleotide thyroid uptake imaging (123I) demonstrated significantly reduced tracer uptake in the thyroid.

Drowning, not waving-
After this I tried diltiazem which was better but in time wrecked my tummy and then
amiodarone
which made me feel DREADFUL. My consultant has suggested I get on the list for an ablation as this is my best chance to find a solution drugs free.

Patient knows best
I take Digoxin, Bisoprolol, Rivaroxaban and Levothyroxine - the latter because
Amiodarone
messed my thyroid up. I have annual liver, kidney and thyroid tests plus Digoxin level test.

Pace and Ablate (CRT-d) Implantation Part II
My AF even broke through
Amiodarone
. It was agreed that Pace and Ablate strategy would give me the best chance of a normal life. Initially I went in 15 August (2017) but they were unable to the device in. I was called back in on 22 August (2017) for round 2.

Amiodarone and sunlight side effects
Hi, does or has anyone on here any experience of side effects with
amiodarone
and sunlight exposure? I've been taking it since May and I'm going on a beach holiday to the Greek island of Kos next week (holiday was booked before I knew I would be on this medication).

improving the chance of successful cardioversion
I am taking
amiodarone
leading up to the procedure and also on bisisoprolol. I have read that fish oil can improve the chance of success. Does anyone have experience of this and/or know of anything else that can help?

Three month update
Because of the complications after the ablation I have been on
amiodarone
for nearly four months. I have been really lucky and apart from the horrid dreams I haven't really had any side effects from it and it put me back into NSR at the beginning of June.
