Had my Ablation 7 months ago, had Tacacardia after Ablation for 3 weeks then went back in normal rytham for 5 weeks now back in Tacacardia again, Still on Amiodarone and going to Glenfield next week to be cardioverted.

Do you think i would benefit me having a week off work or dont you think it will make any differance.

thanks

I have had numerous cardioversions.

I did not take a week off work. But as you have a short anaesthetic you are not allowed to work machinery or drive for at least 24 hours.

However you will best be advised by those who care for you when you have the cardioversion and also listen to your body.

If you need to rest then I am sure a doctor will sign you off for a week.

Hi Higgy,

Pete makes some good points, listen to your body is the main one in my eyes.

Take a few days at least. Anaesthetic always messes with your brain.
