I'm new here
I've only just found this site. It's such a relief to read some of the posts and replies as I thought I was being super ungrateful and pathetic. On the 19th September I returned from dropping my daughter at her new uni and suffered what I thought was indigestion. I did nothing as it passed. Ironically

How well do drugs work ?
The common practice amongst the medical profession is to quote relative risk improvement rather than absolute risk improvement. Why?, because if they quoted the more realistic and honest absolute risk improvement of drugs many patients simply would not bother or ate last give them up when the side effects

Health anxiety
Terrible health anxiety made worse by not having health insurance! On and off chest, left shoulder and arm pain for about 3 days now!! Anybody else with this? Would a heart attack last this long?!

Tiredness coronary heart disease
I have had 3 small heart attacks and wonder if that is the reason I feel so tired all the time even though the last one was 2013.

Suspected Heart Attack or not
I've written a few times on this post about the shortness of breath and chest pain in walking not even far which has got steadily worse. After 2 ECG that's showed a problem along with an Echo showing Hypokinetic inferior wall my cardiologist was almost certain I had blocked arteries so I had a echocardiogram

How to Assess Your Risk of Heart Attack and Stroke
Male aged 54, 5'10, 158 lbs, body fat 19.9%. Triple bypass March 2015. Became a pesco-vegetarian (still have dairy) in February 2016. Shed 35 lbs from date of surgery to present. Exercise daily for one hour. Off all meds. I've learned a great deal about CVD since my surgery and here are some things everybody

How to tell the difference between a heart attack and anxiety?
Please will someone advise to how you tell the difference between anxiety and a heart attack. Google doesn't help at all. I had an ECG done and all is fine but my heart rate is always in the 80s. Sometimes I wake up during the night and battle to go back to sleep my heart will be beating fast but then

TACE or Y-90 anyone with experience?
I see the ragiologist. My tumor must be shrank or I am very soon literally out of here. Its encapsulated. They want to shoot radio active materials into the tumor, seal it off so the radioactivity is confined and not systemic. Anyone know anything about either of these procedures. By the end of the month
