Tiredness coronary heart disease

I have had 3 small heart attacks and wonder if that is the reason I feel so tired all the time even though the last one was 2013.

Hi Mtaylor1211.

There are many health conditions which may cause tiredness and exhaustion, one of which may or may not be your previous heart attacks. So unfortunately it's not easy to give a definitive answer 😖.

Did you check out the PAS pinned posts and the B12 deficiency PA symptom checklist, as per reply to your last post? Do you think you might have either condition?

It might be a good idea to ask your GP to do a blood test check your serum B12 levels, if you're not sure.

And of course, if you think that you may have B12 deficiency or PA and want to ask any further questions, there are people here who can offer advice and support.

It would certainly be a good idea to discuss your constant tiredness with your GP, who can run a series of blood tests and investigations to try and determine if you have a health condition which is causing you to be so tired.

Really sorry if this doesn't appear to offer much in the way of advice or answers...if you have any other symptoms and could give more information it would help us to help you.

I'm really sorry you feel so tired all the time and really hope you find some answers that will help you.

Take care x

How are your levels of Ferritin - Folate - B12 - Vit D ? Do you request copies of your test results so you can monitor your health progress ? Sometimes your GP will say they are normal when they mean in range. Some results need to be higher in the range for you to feel well.

Have you had your thyroid checked ? Very important when it comes to heart matters - either too much thyroid hormone - or too little can cause heart problems.

What medications are you taking - as sometimes there are side effects.

Hope you soon feel stronger.
