Splitting my T4 dose (amazing results)
Hi all I haven't been here for many years. Doing well generally. Thought I would share a simple thing I tried a good while ago now, but it has made a huge difference to my health. I simply split my T4 dose into 2 portions per 24h. I do 75mcg at bedtime and then 50mcg approx 12h's later. So

Thyroid, Adrenal Fatigue & Supplements
I was interested to read a recent post regarding supplements and the timing of taking thyroid meds if one is taking certain supplements. I had a test in April which produced the following results: Ferritin 214 ug/L; range 30 - 518 Vit b12 active >150 pmol/L; range Vit D 160 nmol/L; range 50-250

Pain Investigations - IBS?
I think I am maybe looking some advice, or perhaps some reassurance from anyone going through similar... I feel quite deflated lately. I have had intestinal/abdominal issues since I was about 17 when I was hospitalised. I am almost 30 now and still dealing with the pains. At 17 I had all sorts of testing

Self sourcing T3
Please could anyone private message me with a T3 source? And probably a long shot but I am hoping to find a lactose free T3 but at this point any T3 sources would be great. Thanks in advance.

T3 Poor response
hello all, it feels a little if I am going in circles. The final one being on t3 exclusively- 30mg @ 0430; 20mg @1030 and 20mg @ 1430 ….. if I take it any later I can’t sleep. This has been gradually increased over time and the last month or so I have been feeling awful with the regular terrible symptoms

Why do I feel so much better in the evening?
Been self-injecting EOD for 4 weeks now. My symptoms before injection were tearfulness, anxiety, shakiness, memory loss, cognitive issues, blurred vision and trouble walking properly. My active B12 on diagnosis was 33pmoL, folate was 2.6. Am taking 5mg folinic acid daily, plus vitamin D3, K2, gentle

PMR or Rheumatoid Arthritis?
I have been treated for PMR and been on prednisone since July 2021. I have had 13 infusions of Actemra over the past year. I have had many ups and downs, including being weaned very slowly off prednisone and having to go back on it. Although there is no proof, I truly believe that having two shoulder

Post Colonoscopy Result - what could it be?
Hi all, I posted previously about stomach issues I was experiencing. What I could only describe as flare ups - stomach pain, inflamed feeling and sometimes vomiting. Had a stool test done and the calprotectin levels were 500+ I had my colonoscopy today and was so sure they’d say that I had very obvious

My dose now is 2 grains ndt am with 10mcg T3 pm 1 grain. So far good but I am experiencing a head pulse and so not sure I should

High sodium alkaline phosphate - 139 (normal drinker)
Hi This post isn’t about me (a recovering alcoholic, sober 3.5yrs!) but my completely normal, low level of alcohol intake, partner! He had some bloods run as part of a routine check up for his age (46) and they’ve had him back in for full LFTs / scan next week as his ALP was 139.. When I say normal

I had reduced prami very slowly from 5 x.088 down to two at night. After hols I decided to go cold turkey and stop. I take 2 tramadol x 50mg at 7oc. Quit alcahol as twas a trigger. I stay up as long as I can and about an hr before bedtime take 1mg Noctamid n sleep right thru. I don't want to become dependent

Low Ferritin
In May of this year my Ferritin level was 11 (range 15-200) and I was given Ferrous Fumarate and told to have bloods done again in a few months. My recent results were 19. I know Ferritin levels are notoriously slow to rise but I was surprised at the very slow progress....Does this seem right?
