When to start Clomid or other!
Hi girls, I hope you are keeping well. I will stop taking my contraceptive pill in January and I am planning on not taking anything for a couple of months to check my cycles. I had my ovaries drilled last month so hopefully I should have regular cycles. I will take notes of them anyway and we will start

Low ovarian reserve
We went for our first consultation before we start IVF the other day. My consultant said he was concerned as he could only count 6 follicles on my baseline scan and said I may have a low ovarian reserve for my age 27 and this might be the reason we haven't been able to convieve. He is doing an AMH blood

10 day scan... IUI Cancelled
Morning ladies. Just thought I'd share my experience yesterday. Went for my 10 day scan after my 1st try with clomid. 3x big ass follicles on the screen at the US so they won't proceed this month. They allow 2x follicles but no more. They were over 18mm too. The nurse has advised to not take clomid next

Hi everyone This is my first time on the network. We just had our first fertility appointment with a consultant yesterday. Feeling much more positive now as we have a plan and things are moving forwards. I have pcos and started clomid this morning. I'm getting a bit frustrated as everyone is trying

Hypothyroid? "Normal" blood test results
Hi, Any help would so greatly be appreciated. My issues have been going on for over a year now. I was diagnosed with pcos in July 2013, albeit mildly and put on metformin. In April 2014, I took 3 course of clomid, to make me ovulate. These resulted in even heavier periods than normal. In October

I feel like I'm loosing it! Thyroid?!
Hi everyone, Thank you for taking the time to read this. I have been diagnosed with hypothyroid since 2009. Since I have been on medication (rangeing between 25mcg to 75mcg) I am more aware of my symptoms. This has always been an issue but I have never found a doctor willing to investigate further,

Failed IVF
May 29th 2015 changed my life and I still can't recover completely from the devastating news of my failed IVF attempt. Went through a clomid cycle and my husband and I decided that for timing purposes we shouldn't waste time and jumped into IVF. To my dismay, it didn't result the way I hoped and planned

Clomid situation!!
Unfortunately my first cycle of clomid hasn't worked worked but I have a slight situation........my doctor for whatever reason has not seen my blood results and won't be back in clinic till Tuesday next week. My fertility nurse said that if this cycle didn't work we would double the dose at the next

Embryo adoption ?
Thanks to all that replied. I`m starting my 2nd cycle of Clomid today, fingers crossed for a BFP !! I`ve been researching "Embryo adoption" not so common in the UK due to restrictions and lack of donors but a bot more relaxed about it abroad. Does anyone have any experience of this or achieved a pregnancy

Disheartened and down
Just got AF last night 16DPO after my first cycle of 50mg Clomid. I knew I wasn`t pregnant even though i didn't`t test, sometimes you "just know". So feeling sorry for myself , I don't really have anyone to talk to, the odds are not stacked in my favour at 45 and there are always the people who take

After 8+ years of problems with my menstrual cycle or lack of! I have finally been given a diagnosis. what they once though we're cysts on my ovaries are actually paused eggs. I was born with a hormone inbalance that gynae never diagnosed. I was referred to the fertility outpatients at my local hospital
