how do i start/induce a period with norethisdrone

i was recently prescribed norethisdrone 5mg tablets to induce a period so i can star my clomid 100mgs how much do i take of norethisdrone to induce a period i am on 5mgs

Hi ttcwithpcos. Just carry on taking the 5mgs until you start to bleed. You then take the Clomid on the 2nd day of bleeding for 5 days. It can take up to 3 weeks for the initial bleed to start. Hope that helps and good luck! Diane

i got a period for 4 days only very very heavy b leed im going to take the clomid without a period and see where that takes me i know u can ovulate without a period on clomid ive read it baby center

Hi. Usually Clomid is taken on the 2nd day of your period for 5 days. Have you been told otherwise?? Diane
