Troubles getting medication
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone else has had trouble being given medication. We're ttc now over two years and my periods are 50 days apart, I've had a number of appointments, tests and scans following the NHS protocol. I've been asking for clomid since day 1 but it's always another test, another

Clomid cycle 2
Hello all, I've just started my second cycle of Clomid after not ovulating on cycle 1. I have an internal ultrasound booked for day 14 (bit late if you ask me!) and am wondering whether hubby and I have to use protection until then.. any ideas? I have to book scans through the reception and the lady

IUI - day 1 to 8
So I've deided to post regularly during my first cycle of IUI. Before I started the treatment myself I spent hours on google reading about other people's experiences. I got speaking to someone on here who was on a very similar path to me and a bit further down the road in their journey and it really

New update about my infertility
Hello everyone. Since I wrote the post I have some good news. Well, that's what I think. My husband and I have read your comments and have decided to make an appointment at a fertility clinic for testing. We are looking for a place to start. Chances are that by next week we have already found one.

PCOS, IVF & OHSS
Hi, this is my first post, so feeling a bit nervous but just wanted to share my journey so far and see if anyone out there has been through the same... We've been trying to conceive for over two years now. 6 months in I found out that I wasn't ovulating and so the emotional rollercoaster ensued. Appointments

First cycle of IUI
Hi, After 3 years TTC and attending an infertility clinic for around 18 months with unexplained fertility I've just started my first cycle of IUI. Currently on day 3 of my cycle so starting clomid tonight and first injection booked for Friday, which will be day 6. I thought injections started earlier

37 Year old with low AMH. What are my chances of conceiving?
Hi everyone - I'm "new" here. I am 37 and i have not been able to conceive yet. I got married two years back since I could not find the right person for myself. I recently got my vaginal ultrasound done to check if everything is normal. I discovered that my AMH is 0.55 which is quite low and my ovarian

Need advice!
Hi, I haven't posted in a while. My last post was shortly after I found out I had an amh of 0.68 and fsh of 16.1 and I'm only 31. Told me there wasn't anything I could do nor could they fund me via NHS. Since then, I have had further appointments and they have decided to give me 6 months of clomid.

Is Clomid sending me crazy?
Hello- wondering if anyone has had similar experiences. I'm coming to the end of my first cycle on Clomid. I didn't ovulate, which I'm gutted about. But this morning I have the first feels of my period coming. Hubby just called and I ripped him about for nothing!! I was fuming and irritable and completely

What are my chances of conceiving at 37?
I am 37 years old and I am considering IVF. We are looking for legal options which are not too expensive. Due to personal reasons we could not plan a child till the age of 35 and I really want one now! I have tried meeting a lot of infertility professionals in my area and have completed 3 cycles of clomid

Can anyone suggest any good clinics where IVF and Surrogacy are legal
I am going through secondary infertility and i am thinking of opting in for IVF or surrogacy. Clomid doesnt seem to help and i am looking for a cheaper and legal option since IVF for secondary infertility is neither funded nor allowed here. Any help would be appreciated!

Me again...
So I've been thinking, I have PCO so that's a reason to put me on Clomid, but my tubes are damaged from bilateral hydrosalpinx, so putting me on clomid would be a waste of time really wouldn't it because my tubes can't fertilise the egg? Can I push this theory on them or will they realise it? I just

Am I just over thinking this... Or is it just me?
But, for some reason I just can't shake the feeling that our IVF journey is going to fail due to my history of 'anovulation' It's late on a Thursday night, I'm reading my paper work from the clinic and being a nurse myself (reading between the lines) or just looking for reasons to fail because - well

Clomid
I see clomid popping up a lot, what are the reasons for putting you on it? What problems does the woman have that makes them suggest it? I have endometriosis, Adenomyosis, PCO, PID and the cilia in my tubes were damaged from bilateral hydrosalpinx. Does everyone have to try clomid first? Thank you In

Hi I have been dreading this process for such a long time, and have now accepted my fate. Started my periods today which means that I will be starting my first Clomid Cycle tomorrow. Would appreciate any advice or tips. Also have some male infertility factors. Wish everyone the best on their fertility

Does Clomid change your cycle length?
Hello all! Just coming to the end of my first cycle of Clomid. The internal ultrasound looked good but bloods have confirmed I didn't ovulate 😔, so now I have to wait for my period before we can try again. My cycle is normally 36-41 days long- does anyone know if it is likely to be shorter due to

Feeling lonely..
No matter how much I try to put me and my husband first I can't help carrying everyone else's problems yet no one ever seems to ask how I'm doing 🙁 I've lost so many friends through this journey which I guess is partly my own fault as I haven't always been forthcoming about what I'm going through but
