Clomid cycle 2

Hello all, I've just started my second cycle of Clomid after not ovulating on cycle 1. I have an internal ultrasound booked for day 14 (bit late if you ask me!) and am wondering whether hubby and I have to use protection until then.. any ideas? I have to book scans through the reception and the lady was very lovely but didn't really have a clue x

I don't know the answer to this but I do know that an internal ultrasound won't hurt a pregnancy if that's what you're worrying about, as it's the same way they do early scans.

Me again!😁 I am scheduled for an internal ultrasound this week and my doctor said it was fine whenever it fell in my cycle and was fine if we'd been trying. She did say though we should not try/be protected before and after the HSG as the xray can impact the eggs??? (I didn't really understand) and if you were pregnant it may not develop safely.
