Does Aloe Vera help diabetes?
Research on this is not conclusive or categorical and there may be up to 5% risk of allergy, but I have heard well from people who have tried it. Though not recommended by them, Mayo Clinic has this on their web page: 'For diabetes, a dose of 5-15 milliliters of aloe juice twice daily has been taken

One of those days has started already!
At this point I get out of bed and apply
aloe
vera
from head to toe and stand in a draft whilst it drys, once fully chilly and furious, finally get back into a now deserted and empty bed to do the files and get off to sleep.

Can anyone suggest anything I haven't tried?
I've been taking acidophilus and
aloe
vera
tablets but they don't seem to have helped and lately I feel as though I'm living on solpadine and ibuprofen to get me through the day! I've even applied for personal independence payments as my ibs is having such an impact on my life.

Update on condition and clinic appointments
I have been taking these along with
aloe
vera
capsules and magnesium and zinc. I have also been drinking peppermint or chamomile tea, both of which have helped a bit. I have just started taking Lepicol Plus today so shall see how this goes combined with all the stuff I am already trying!

Hi, I have IBS-c and had an awful flare-up last night - sharp painful cramps from my lower abdomen into my left thigh. Has anyone had this?
I have been doing quite well in recent months by taking probiotics,
aloe
Vera
and avoiding snacking when stressed. However I had an awful flare-up last night after a couple of days constipation.

My bowels have become really stubborn for last few months, I have had IBS for over 15yrs now
I have tried
aloe
Vera
colon cleanse which did nothing, senna tablets used to work but not as effective now. Saw my GP about it and she prescribed movicol, but just made my belly rumble. Have just started to take colpermin again as took them few years back, am so uncomfortable and fed up.
