Ibs and aloe vera gel: Hi I have ibs A and... - IBS Network
Ibs and aloe vera gel
Like so many other things, aloe vera juice seems to work for some people and not others, but if you decide to give it a go try this producer: pukkaherbs.com It's cold-pressed, organic, made from the inner leaf only and its sole additive is 0.1% of citric acid derived from tapioca. At around £20 a litre, it certainly isn't cheap, but I think getting the purest and best-produced product is essential.
Have you tried doing the FODMAPs diet?
Hi yes I do follow the low fodmap diet but sometimes stray
For it to be of any use to you, you need to commit fully to FODMAPs for 4-6 weeks and then try reintroducing the food groups one-at-a-time It's the only way to discover what your food triggers are (if any).
Ok thanks for that
I have tried aloe Vera juice which alas had no impact on my ibs symptoms. However it may work for you so no harm in trying
Like the others have said, no harm in trying. Personally, I found it made my IBS worse, but other people swear by it so just give it a try.
My daughter drinks Alor Vera juice to help her psoriasis !!!
One of the technicians at work swears by it!! All these posts point to the usual story with IBS - you never know until you try. I'm not sure what type of IBS it's supposed to help?
