Non-diabetic with high morning glucose
I am new to this forum and wanted to see if anyone can advise on my high morning glucose. I am a 49 year old female with autoimmune thyroid disease but I am not diabetic nor or any medication for anything. My morning glucose after one cup of tea is frequently over 8.5 mmol on our very reliable Accucheck

Hello everyone It's a bit of a long one so I do apologise in advance x Yesterday I had a combined Appointment with the E.N.T doctor & my specialist prof Lorraine Harper. I had a nasal endoscopy which showed my right nasal passage was very narrow but my CT scan results of my sinus revealed no infection

Surprise biopsy!
So I had the dermatologist again today, with my ongoing rash. We discussed my positive ANA and that I'm seeing the rheumatologist tomorrow. She said she wanted to do an urgent skin biopsy and told me they'd ring this afternoon regarding an appointment next week. I left and went for some shopping and

Not Lupus
I was diagnosed with Lupus 15 years ago from complaining of chronic fatigue! My blood tests apparently indicated lupus at the time because of a raised ANA test. I have lived with this diagnosis for all if this time but luckily have always refused hydroxychloroquine because of potential eye problems.

Lupus diagnosed 5yrs ago!
I was diagnosed with lupus by my primary care doctor and a rheumatologist 5yrs ago , I had the rheumatologist check my blood work three times! Besides a lot of the symptoms I was having I also had a positive ANA level along with multiple other diseases including many secondary diseases of lupus!

Hello - New Here
Hello. I saw a rheumatologist yesterday who said he felt my symptoms fitted lupus more than anything thing else, although I am still undiagnosed as I don't meet enough of the criteria. My main symptoms are bilateral swollen hands, every morning, and random pains. I have a positive ANA and low white

Hello everyone 😃 I've suffered Raynauds for around 9 years now which has progressively gotten worse particularly bad the last 3 years. I've had 3 lots of bloods taken over the years all showing positive ANA and ENA, but doctors didn't feel a slight positive was enough to investigate further. My worsening

What do I have? Wish I could find out!
In September I thought I had a bug bite on my right ankle. By October this rash was all over my body from my neck down. Itching was so very intense. It kept me up at night, would bleed from scratching. I thought at first perhaps it was an allergic reaction to soap, shampoo, food. I tried very over

Maybe I'm not crazy?
Hello all, I'm brand new to this forum but after reading the lengthy string of posts from everyone, it's a comfort to know that I'm not going crazy! I have recently been diagnosed with Hashimotos (about 9 months ago) although I have a feeling I've been suffering with it for some time. For so many years

Lupus or anxiety?
Hello, My gp is currently testing me for lupus, I'm worried he is wasting his time, I had a negative ana test 2 years ago and every doctor I have seen before him has told me it's anxiety and sent me away. I was diagnosed with social anxiety and general anxiety disorder 9 years ago and about 6-7 years
