Successful follow up to previous post regarding bending the truth to obtain correct prescription level
Dear all, I wanted to let you know about my recent success in case it can help anyone facing the difficulties I faced. So, I've no Thyroid, was gradually lowered to 75 (from 150 - was 86kgs) and then put down to 50mcg Levo, where I became seriously ill. Drs used TSH testing only and put my illness

Here are my blood test results as promised…..
I’d be really grateful if you could take a look at my test results below and let me know what you think please. Since having the left side of my thyroid removed in February 23 because of a suspiciously large nodule, my blood tests had showed lower than optimum levels and so I was started on Levothyroxine

I went to the doctor with worries about Levo dosage … currently on 50 divided so 2x25 morn and eve. I was wanting full thyroid blood test as feeling sluggish and cold with inflammation and few other niggles. The doc agreed to blood test - it’s been many months since last - and I had asked for a full

new Levo
I have just collected my new Levo prescription and have been given Aristo, has anyone used this and had any bad side effects? The reason I ask is that I can’t take Teva or Wockhardt

Why should ft4 be at a certain percentage through reference range (mid to upper) when on T4/T3 combination therapy when T4 is inactive?
As per the subject title, if ft4 is inactive, then why do some people on T4/T3 therapy only feel good if their ft4 level is at the mid/upper level despite the fact their ft3 (active form) may be at a optimal level? Or if they are not feeling well, why are they advised to increase their Levo dosage if

Timings of medications, help please.
Can anyone help me with the timings for the following medications which I need to take each day apart from the Risedronate once a week, please? I have spoken to the pharmacy and they were not particularly helpful. Levothyroxine and Risedronate both have to be taken on an empty stomach I believe. Not

Hello everyone! I am diagnosed with hypothyroidism and take Levothyroxine 100mg. I don't feel well at all, but I also have other health problems: lupus, Sjogren's, Henoch's purpura, neutropenia... I have a lot of symptoms and pains that I don't know where they are coming from, but fibromyalgia and depression

Hi all, I previously posted on behalf of my Mom. TSH, B12, folate and vitamin D below was taken 21/12/23. GP prescribed 50,000 unit 1 a week for 6 weeks vitamin D caps. So we see the ones called calceous 400 unit with calcium 1 twice a day did not maintain her level. So that could be one reason why she

I was diagnosed just over 2 years ago after my health had declined for several years. My GP did however agree to a 25mcg Levothyroxine

T3 and updates.
Hope everyone is having a good day and not pouring it down and misty as it is here. Managed to have a telephone consultation with my usual Dr. today that I feel was helpful. My T3 result was done with my last tests and is 4.5 which said in normal range. I only had one thyroid test prior to beginning
