Hi- presumably that’s a typo and you mean biocidin? I’ve taken both and as with all my supplements I take them at least 4 hours away from levo… you could probably get away with 2 hours for those supplements but I prefer to err on the side of caution

thanks LucyYoga yes sorry typing in haste and couldn’t remember the name on the bottle (brain fog!) thanks that’s very helpful. I’m sure the dr said to take ashwaghanda with breakfast but I’d had the same thought about taking 4 hours… out of interest how did you find both of those supplements?

Both very helpful and part of a larger root cause healing protocol involving a bucket load of supplements - biocidin for high levels of arabinose and clostridia as highlighted in OAT test. Ashwaghanda for its adaptogenic properties in supporting adrenals. Did they help in and of themselves I can’t say… but In conjunction with all the other things yes they did

I thought there was a reason for not taking aswaghanda with thyroid medication?

Do you know what that is? My private thyroid doc has recommended use following cortisol testing…

Gold standard for uncovering HPA axis dysfunction is salivary 5 point diurnal cortisol test including 4 point cortisol and DHEA. Regenerus is best IMO

There are no contraindications with taking ashwaghanda and thyroid meds- I wouldn’t take them at the same time personally but there is no problem with taking them both. Some ppl with hashimotos are wary of ashwaghanda if they have nightshade sensitivities, and others are concerned that as an adaptogen it can potentially raise or lower cortisol which may be a concomitant issue.

Start with one drop of liquid per day and then build up and eventually take the liquid capsules…

Didn’t know you can get capsules! I used the liquid drops.
