Large changes in my health over recent months with heart issues means I am taking many more medications. Trying to sort out the best timing as many seem to impact thyroid medication
I take
Levothyroxine early in the morning
Aspirin and Clopidogrel after breakfast
Atorvastatin in the evening
I now need to add Lansoprazole, a PPI, which must be taken in the morning 30 to 60 minutes before food.
I also have 10 weekly B12 jabs.
Has anyone else experience to taking such a combination. One suggestion was to take levothyroxine at night. What qualifiers as an empty stomach if I take levothyroxine as I go to bed.
Any suggestions on managing this would be appreciated as I'm getting very confused. New medication being added without thought to what I am already taking. Thanks

I'm inclined to say if you need to add the two mentioned in the title then chances are you have yet to optimise your thyroid dose and could be behind the heart problems?
Totally agree with Eeyore. High cholesterol and digestion problems are hypo symptoms - low stomach acid, not high, so PPIs will make things worse, not better. And, the heart needs a lot of thyroid hormones.
I would suggest you post your latest blood test results and ranges for further advice rather than take a load of dangerous drugs to treat symptoms that can be helped by optimising your thyroid hormone levels.
IMPORTANT......If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 7 days before ALL BLOOD TESTS , as biotin can falsely affect test results
In week before blood test, when you stop vitamin B complex, you might want to consider taking a separate folate supplement (eg Jarrow methyl folate 400mcg) and continue separate B12
I take mine at around four in the morning as I wake about this time every night to go to the loo. At that time there’s no conflict with anything else I might have eaten or other medication. Works for me!
I note you are b12 deficient, your heart problem may well be caused by undertreating your deficiency and/or undertreated hypothyroidism.. as others have said you need a b complex to support your injections, make sure there is no more than 10mg of b6 in it.. take it for 4 months then have a two month break then continue and so on.. take a separate folate supplement whilst on a break from the b complex..
is it definitely too much acid causing your need for a ppi? Low acid has the same symptoms..
I took my Levothyroxine at bedtime for a few years, recently changed to morning as it suits me better this way.. there is no wrong time as long as you have an empty stomach
