Help with blood results
Hi just curious to hear what peeps think about my recent bloods. I've been on 100mg levothyroxine since April 2021 after docs told me I poss had Hashimotos. I had the TPO antibody at a low level I think circa 150. So my October bloods came back last wk as follows: TSH: 1.64 range: 0.27 - 4.2 T4: 15.8

Another battle
Just back from GP, having won another battle to get my Levo increased. It is so tiring feeling that I am really pushing to be given drugs. Conversation went like this: Me: my symptoms have worsened so I did a private blood test, the results show that my FT43 and FT4 have lowered and my TSH has increased

How to convince your GP a suppressed TSH is ok?
For years I’ve had a suppressed TSH following a trial of T3 probably 5 years ago which didn’t work and I haven’t taken it for around 4 years (need to check my records for exact dates). My GP has always been fine with it, and even the rubbish NHS endo agreed it would take time to recover - or as I know

Sertraline and contraindication
Background - I was recently started on levothyroxine after many years of not feeling well after having a private health screening through work which flagged up a higher than normal tsh and a low t4 reading. It seems that my tsh had been going up for a long time but was never flagged as it was deemed

Hello, started on Levothyroxine late last year after being diagnosed with sub clinical hypothyroidism and Hashimoto's). After a bit of tweaking with dosage from GP they feel I am now on correct dose (alternate 75/50mg daily; I weigh 56kg). I definitely feel better than I did but still have lots of fatigue

Will I ever be able to parent properly again!
Started levothyroxine in July this year, was suffering from horrendous headaches daily and so tired. According to my GP my thyroid levels are now in the normal range but I feel awful still. Lethargic, exhausted, so cold, aching joints, no concentration, just have to sit or lie day during the days.

Question re:periods
Hello everyone, Up until I started Levo in May this year I was having regular periods every 4 weeks. I think it was my own cycle rather than just an hrt “withdrawal bleed” from my hrt, as the periods were very heavy each time and lasted about 7 days. I had spells of missing a couple of periods here

thyroid s source
Hi, I’ve been seeing a functional medicine Dr and she has suggested I try Thyroid S, she also suggested I ask on here if anyone could dm me a reliable source. I’m in the U.K. I see her regularly and have regular labs, I’ve been working with her since 2018 and we’ve tried various doses of Levothyroxine

Levothyroxine and Longer Menstrual Bleeds/Periods
So far as I have been increasing my dose (still optimising dose) my periods length have stayed the same around 5/6 ish days. The cycle itself has varied since starting levothyroxine by an about a few days (from a 26 day cycle prediagnosis and treatment to 26-31 days since diagnosis and treatment). However
