I have just collected my new Levo prescription and have been given Aristo, has anyone used this and had any bad side effects? The reason I ask is that I can’t take Teva or Wockhardt

new Levo
Many have said they find it good for them. As you might expect, some don't like it.
When it first appeared, we had many posts about it, and I collected links to them in a blog. Since it has become so widespread, I no longer add posts to my blog.
Since it does not contain lactose, acacia nor mannitol, it appears to avoid the three ingredients most suspected of not being tolerated.
I take it and it is my preference.
It is potentially available as both Aristo Levothyroxine and Aristo Vencamil. They are 100% identical.

Thank you so much for that info. I’ve just had to take some Teva back as I really can’t tolerate them and as they don’t have any Mercury Pharma they have offered me Aristo. I don’t mind trying them out but just wondered if there had been any adverse reactions to them. Thanks again 😊
Hope it goes well.
If so, your surgery should be able to change your prescription to "Vencamil" and thus make sure you always get it. Unfortunately, only in 100 microgram dosage at present.
People are different. The only way to find out if it suits you is to try it. You may react immediately or it may take months.
I like it, no acacia, lactose or mannitol 🤗
Hi Kimkat,
I'm with Eeyore. I've not (to my knowledge) had acacia in a medicine before but I know I don't have a good experience if it's in anything I eat so I avoid it.
Lactose has a terrible effect on my bowels and mannitol again doesn't agree with me. So Aristo (or Vencamil brand) I don't have any problems with.
not suiting me unfortunately, any brand change seems to affect me
