Steroid nasal spray long term side effects
Hello. I use pirinase nasal spray for allergies and i just switched from beconase to it. I read that it uses a newer generation corticosteroid and has less long term side effects. I want to hear about any long term or rare side effects other people have had from using hayfever nasal sprays. Thanks.

Confused person!
Due to terrible brain fog, confusion and memory problems - I am trying to take stock of where I am. If this is repetitive, I am sorry. Brief history: ME/CFS diagnosed 15 years ago (although having obtained my blood test results recently my B12 was 165 ng/L in 2005), 2 years ago diagnosis of colorectal

High grade prostate cancer: Large Tumor, High Gleason (9), Low PSA. What next?
Hi everyone, I am new here. My father (50 years old) has been recently diagnosed with high grade prostate cancer. The diagnosis came as a shock to us but we are trying to approach it head-on and gather as much information as possible. We are researching to decide on the best treatment moving forward

My Peak Flow is increased now, I started with 500 aprox, now it's between 550-570

Asthma & Anxiety
Hi there I have been having ongoing issues with my sinuses, post-nasal drip leading to chest tightness but no wheezing. Went to doctors and she has given me a 2 week course of Doxycycline antibiotic for sinus infection. I had sinus surgery in March 2019 and my ENT consultant just says it is all related

Eosinophilic asthma
I was diagnosed in April this year with Eosinophilic asthma. My dr has said its mild asthma and one puff of fostair (100/6 I think) in the morning seems to control it. However, when I read about eosinophilic asthma it really terrifies me and does not sound ‘mild’ or easy to control - is it possible to

Eosinophilic asthma
Hi everyone! I have eosinophilic asthma (diagnosed in May 2019) I have a brilliant consultant who has got it all under control with a cocktail of medication (fostair 200, montelukast, omeprezole, dymista etc) which I take religiously! My fear is that ‘will I have a flare up?’ This is all new to me

Family history of cancer associated with asthma diagnosis in children.
It’s well known there’s a genetic component to cancer, and that cancer often runs in families. A new study being presented at the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI) Annual Scientific Meeting in Houston shows an association between a family history of cancer and a childhood asthma

Reflux
Good evening, does anyone think that reflux and heartburn makes asthma worse? I suggested this to my consultant but he disregarded this. I am progressively getting worse with asthma. Regards
