Steroid nasal spray long term side effects

Hello. I use pirinase nasal spray for allergies and i just switched from beconase to it. I read that it uses a newer generation corticosteroid and has less long term side effects. I want to hear about any long term or rare side effects other people have had from using hayfever nasal sprays. Thanks.

My husband had a bad time with Beconase after he had been on it for a few years, seasonally. When he stopped taking them after his hay fever annual period, he became very congested. Since 3 or so years he has been on Avamys and that has been better.

hey, 15 years non-stop, with aurid (budesonide), for polyps and chronic allergy. no side effects so far.

I think nasal steroids are supposed to act locally, so I think there are no many people with side effects

Yeah, but some people can get eye side effects after a long time.

Hi! I have allergic asthma, severe hay fever and rubbish sinuses! The past few years I was taking Avamys for the majority of the year, only coming off it for a couple of months a year, but this year they switched me to Dymista which I've been on daily since February, and haven't been able to come off due to ear problems and Eustachian tube problems, the only side effects I get is the occasional nose bleed if I get snuffly or congested X
