Are MRI's accurate in seeing endo in general? To operate or not?
Hiya, I'm asking this question because I've had very negative experiences of my adhesions showing. Following one mri which reported that I had one small area of endo, I had a lap to supposedly to remove only to find everything is stuck together, stage 4 endo with frozen pelvis. I'm now waiting in limbo

Covid the cause of asthma
Covid the cause of asthma? Has any been diagnosed with Asthma since having covid? I contracted covid just over a year ago and was quit poorly (not bad enough for hospital) and since then I have been struggling with Asthma symptoms. I stupidly tried to ignore it until winter and the cold weather hit

Why am I so slow and cannot concentrate on my life??
Hi all, hope all is well..... I have been partially diagnosed with chronic bronchitis or asthma (which is looking more like asthma now due to many symptoms) since: 05/05/2020 during the first UK Lockdown and for three days now I have been feeling slow therefore taking me twice as long to do anything

🎄🎅🎁Christmas triggers
Will you be putting up your Christmas tree this week? Lots of us like to decorate our homes at this time of year, but if your asthma is triggered by dust or mould, it’s worth taking extra care. 🎄 Real Christmas trees carry mould spores, which increase in warm centrally heated homes. See a Professional Respiritory doctor
Morning everyone, hope your all keeping as well as can be. Seems so many of you have never had a proper respiritory check up by a Professional. How can this be, how can people diagnose respiritory illness without it. I asked my respiritory nurse why I had never been referred to chest clinic and asked

Allergic asthma survival HEPA-tent
My

(dust mite, pollen, and mold), and I have high IgE and eosinophils. So, a while back, I have built a "Darth Vader -type" chamber into which I blow HEPA- and charcoal- filtered air. This is where slept every night for the last 15 years.

Salamol doses how many hours minimum ?
My son is 4 and a half. Since March this year he has had 3-4 wheezy episodes that required AE attendence. He was all times given a reliever inhaler. He has not been diagnosed with asthma yet, but seems so much the case to me. He had eczema as a baby and many allergies. He grew out of the eczema and most

GERD
Just wanted to know about people’s experience with omeprazole. Ive just been prescribed it because I have bad acid and my oesophagus has been damaged due to acid. However, I’ve heard of a connection with GERD and asthma and I have noticed that since I’ve taken the medication, my asthma seems better too

Best Antihistamine for Asthma
Hi. My asthma nurse thinks my flare up is due to cats (never happened before) I have always had a cat in the home and I’m 48. They want to me to try Montelukast i’m a bit scared of the side effects. Can anyone recommend a good antihistamine or are they all the same. thanks 😊

Allergies
I have suffered ataxia for some ten years. Although the trend of the condition has been unremittingly downwards, the decline accelerating of late, my condition still seems to be very variable from day to day. Can anyone suggest somewhere where I can request a wide ranging allergy test. I feel certain

Tertiary Specialist Appointment - outcome
Well! The long-awaited appointment happened! Out come was basically, need blood tests (done!) and waiting for ENT. He said he's not sure why I'm not responding enough to oral steroids and that I don't have the inflammation typically associated with asthma (eosinophils I'm guessing, probably spelt that

Sensitive to mould and damp
Since the past few months I have been severely unwell. It started bystaying at my parents house, where the ceiling had collapsed due to water damage from rain and ongoing work. One day I woke up with gasping for air, allergy symptoms, nausea, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, brain fog and sensitivity to light
