What Omega Is Best
Hi, I have a low AMH Level and we're having ICSI IVF. I've been looking into and buying supplements that may help. Everywhere mentions Omega 3 but they don't say how much to take? And is it better to take just Omega 3 supplement or take a Omega 3, 6 and 9 Supplement? I'm getting really confused (not

Next step in getting answers?
Hi all, I've had problems with pelvic pain, horrendous cramping, painful sex etc for a year now, over the last 6 months I've had various tests. My ultrasounds suggested polycystic ovaries but my blood tests have come back as normal. I was prescribed mefenamic acid in Feb but it honestly doesn't do much

First Aid in the Workplace
not sure if anyone can help with this question. You can have a DNR put on your hospital records, but can you do the same in your workplace?? Just having a debate with my hubby, talking about "what if.." scenarios. Are first aiders obligated to perform CPR on you?

Trying so hard to feel normal - overhauling the supplement plan
Hi 🙂, Just meanderings of a tired brain today. Hoping I'm not the only one on this wave-length. Some days with endo are really tough, and some are deceptively "easy" like today, where I end up asking myself why I "can't feel normal". Stage IV endo is where I'm at, waiting for Tuesday for the recommendation

Alpha Lipoic Acid and anti-Coagulants
I am on Apixaban, Statins and blood pressure tablets. I suffer with thoracic back pain which when it flares is awful, a mixture of muscle and nerve pain. I am only able to take paracetamol which is useless in my case. I have also been advised by the G.P. and pharmacist that I should try Amitriptyline

HRT in late 50's
I am investigating about HRT and have been reading lots of good things about helping with osteoporosis. I am thinking about trying HRT as I have post menopausal issues and to help with OP. However my GP insists that after 50, it's of zero use. I have found good studies and even the ROS recommend it

Age 41. Third IVF cycle with ARGC. When should I call it a day?
Hi everyone, This is my first time writing here and hoping to get some advice from you all. I've had two unsuccessful IVF rounds at ARGC so far, which was devastating. The first was a frozen cycle, due to the fact that I had to get surgery to remove fibroids. This one yielded 8 eggs, 6 fertilized and

Dosage reduction
Following on from my post a month ago, this is where I am now. Continued with 10 mg daily until I reached 6 weeks, then reduced to 9 mg, which is where I am now. My Dr wants me to continue to taper slowly by 1 mg every 6-8 weeks. Dr prefers to focus on symptoms rather than blood tests. I asked if

Update 3 years on
I joined this forum in 2018 whilst at a low ebb. Thank you to everyone who posted encouragement at the time. I weighed in at 134KG then, down from my top weight of 141KG. (At my recent weigh-in, I was a whisker over 110KG). After I read the replies to my post, I went to my Buddhist altar and

Hopeful but still keeping fingers crossed!
I am today posting, to give hope to others on tapering plans! After 4 years of first GCA followed by two bouts of PMR, my third attempt of tapering , continues to be promising. I chalk off a new week every Wednesday on my calendar and I have reached the ten week mark. That is ten weeks of no prednisolone

My Vaccine Worries
Your thoughts, advice and perhaps your sympathy, would be greatly appreciated please. I'm sure my invitation to have the vaccine is imminent and I'm worried. I've debated with myself for weeks about the best course of action and I'm going round in circles. The last time I was vaccinated was in 1991

Good meds for bone pain w. metastatic PCa.
Need pain med advice. GP Doc finally put me on Percocet -- which is way too weak to do much good. Have bone mets for almost 2 years from femurs to neck, and sometimes excruciating pain. Starting Hospice soon as my MO discharged me. (Have Braca 2 gene, and last med -- Lynparza -- lost its effectiveness

My scores are in!
Spine -3.1 Femur -1.8 (I think they said total femur -1.6) After being told by a GP last week that I was borderline, "my" GP told me today that he thinks I should start alendronic acid immediately for 3 years. (I am 55). It is scaring the hell out of me if I am honest. His reasoning was that, if I
