I had two liver function tests

The first test showed elevated bilirubin, elevated albumin and slightly low alkaline phosphatase. The second one that was performed weeks later showed all normal, (slightly elevated bilirubin but within normal range) but still slightly low alkaline phosphatase.

Albumin V/s microalbumin

Suppose If I do my routine urine test and it shows negative albumin than does it goes the same for Microalbumin also? Or is there any difference between albumin and Microalbumin?

Serum or urine test results for CKD?

When performed together, these tests—a urine sample for albumin-to-creatinine ratio (ACR) and a blood test for estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR)" https://bottomlineinc.com/health/kidney/best-tests-for-kidney-function. But how is that possible if they indicate opposites?

Concerned about kidneys

This a single sample and NOT a 24-hour draw: Creatinine, Ur Random (UCRR): 206.1 mg/DL Albumin, Urine Random: 16.0 mg/DL Albumin/Creat Ratio: 8 mg/g ============================================================= The results of the urine test are in the 'normal' range.

Help please!!! Thyroid T3 help.

I have Graves’ and no thyroid due to radiation 13yrs ago. I have been able to get a private prescription for Cynomel and a Belgium pharmacy to send it to me, but live in the UK and since brexit they are no longer able to help. I tried reducing as I use Cynomel to top up as the NHS don’t prescribe me

Telling my doctor that I have started adding T3

Hi. I was diagnosed in October '20 and have been prescribed 75 levothyroxine by my doctor. I consulted a private functional GP and he has prescribed t3. After a month I feel good. Can my family doctor 'sack' me as a patient for seeking further advice behind her back? How have others managed this

Seeking information & support re Pancoast Tumour.

I am a newbie and am wondering if there might be others out there in the same position? I have recently been diagnosed with a Pancoast tumour in my right lung. Biopsies & tests have shown the staging to be T4 N2. I have been told that this is non-operable and can only be treated on a palliative basis

free B12 webinar addressing genetic factors

Hi All, I’ve listened to this free podcast presented by Emma Beswick, founder of Lifecode Gx, reputable genetic testing company. The webinar is all about B12. It is not specifically about PA but I believe it addresses questions around huge differences in frequencies and amounts of B12 each person needs

Anyone healed PCOS naturally? Supplements?

Hi there. I have a hormonal imbalance since coming off the pill in July 2020 because it was one of the worst things I've ever been on. Before that, my periods were regular, I had no acne and my hormone levels were all normal. After coming off the pill, I had regular pain free periods for 3 months but

Diabeties?

Hi Again and apologies for being a pain. Thought I'd start a separate post about something specific although I'm still trying to figure out why i'm so ill at the moment but so many symptoms match diabetes especially with the weight loss the week prior to hospital and the increased urination and I'm so
