Anyone done Short Synacthen on transdermal estrogen?

Hello,

Im in the process of arranging a short synacthen and adrenal testing but I’m finding it impossible to stop estrogen/progesterone.

all my life I’ve suffered with low-lowish estrogen and low progesterone, I have never had periods so it’s massive a issue for me to stop for 6 weeks and I feel so so ill physically and mentally. I cannot take 6 weeks off work and without work the symptoms are hard to manage day to day.

I have been given the option of going onto Evra patch or using transdermal HRT instead (the latter I tried and it made me feel so awful…but maybe the dose wasn’t high enough!?)

Just looking to hear anyone’s experience.

Thank you

GTS
