Poorly pets!
As you know, I am a huge animal lover, I have my own little Noah's ark at home, they are my life. I have a German Shepherd dog, a cat, three guinea pigs and a rabbit. Not the amount I want, I'd love more! My animals are taking it in turns to become ill. 3 weeks ago my dog pulled a muscle in his leg

Help with potty training.
My daughter is 2years 7months old and is pretty much a master at using the "big girls toilet" accept when it comes to going number two. Do any of you other parents out there have any tips on how we can get her to go? She is excellent at sitting on the toilet, wiping, flushing and washing her hands,

Your opinions, am I being paranoid?
Hi again, I recently asked a question as I came off warfarin on the 15th of April after 8 months of treatment following a DVT which embolised. I ended up in hospital a week after coming off the warfarin with awful chest pain, but the scan showed no new clots and the old ones had cleared and they sent

I have a couple questions about Neupro and Mirapex.
I was on Mirapex until a year ago when I realized I was augmenting badly because I kept upping the dose and got less and less relief. I went through withdrawal, cold turkey, for 3 to 4 weeks before I started Horizant. Pretty quickly I realized that I had to take two Horizant to get good results, and

Warfarin v heparin
I had a three month trial of heparin in 2008 and from what I can recall felt good. Then I went onto warfarin but this coincided with the first of four shoulder operations. Since then I have been diagnosed with fibro which adds to the brain fog and don 't know how effective warfarin is. have discussed

Got up at 5.15 took my alendronic acid and we met the others just before 6am for the coach. Took my other medications plus sea sickness pills en route to Dover. On board we

Am I being paranoid?
I have idiopathic cirrhosis and have, in the past two weeks or so, realised that I have had a lot of hair loss and my skin has been fairly itchy as well. It is not as itchy as it was when I was previously hospitalized though. I have read that hair loss can be a symptom of cirrhosis and I have noticed

Feeling crap.
Hi guys, In my last post I mentioned I was steroid free. I went to see my consultant yesterday and my LFT's are elevated again. I am tired and thirsty and can't even do my housework because I am exhausted. My consultant wants to put me back on steroids (AIH/PBC overlap) but I do not want to take them

Recently diagnosed with auto immune hepatitis. I am a 56 year old male. Have been a social drinker with the odd binges in my early 20's but never to excess. I have been put on prednisone tablets with a reducing dose and will be seeing my consultant in two weeks to be given another medicine which I believe
