Fatty Liver - So worried
I gave up drinking about 3 years ago with some 'blips' along the way where I tried moderation which I absolutely know now does not work. However, the dragging sensation I used to get in my liver area when I used to take a drink has persisted into sobriety. I approached the doctor to look into this in

Worse tinnitus and some head pain
Hello everyone, Can tinnitus be a symptom of a GCA flare? I woke up a few weeks ago with loud roaring tinnitus, I thought something was going on outside it was so loud. It seemed to be worse in the right ear. It has calmed some but is still quite loud at times. I’ve had tinnitus for quite

I am currently on 100mg spironolactone and 40mg furosemide daily to help my Ascites. Recently I hurt my back running and was prescribed a 4mg/day methylprednisolone dose pack to help with the injury. I began taking the steroid last Tuesday evening, and by Wednesday afternoon to my pleasure noticed

Dental work do I miss injection
Hi guys. Can anyone helper advise if possible? I am having a root filling and was wondering if I am to stop my Actemra injections prior to this. I’m not sure if it counts as invasive surgery. I’ve tried calling Rheumy but just answering machine . Thanks for your help. Enjoy the lovely bank holiday.

Have been on Prednisolone for just over 18months my eyesight seemed to be getting worse. Then two weeks ago suddenly I had blurred vision in one eye. Cirrhosis LFTs came back as normal but still worried
I spoke with my consultant today as I'd not had my blood results from last month. He told me my Liver function tests showed now as normal but said I'm probably still border line decompensated as LFTs don't matter. I asked him about hypertension as I have normal portal vein flow and normal flow through

Sulphasazine
I saw both rheumatologist and ophthalmologist last week. Good news - I'm having cataract surgery under general anaesthetic. Apparently its high risk hence general. I'm also down on prednisolone from 15mg to 12.5mg. I'm hoping to be symptom free reducing by 2.5mg. Bad news - I'm now have to take sulpasazine

Help! Palpitations on 1.5 grains NDT
I wrote that I was worried about getting palpitations and lo! I have them. Is this a self fulfilling prophecy or anxiety? I'm very conscious of my heart and am having annoying ectopic beats - these are old foes and I had them for years; they went away when I was put on a maximum dose of ace inhibitors
