Hello All

Advice please . Has anyone on here had cataract surgery while on steroids for PMR and did it all go ok ? Thanks

Yes many, me being one when I was on about 9mg…with GCA not PMR..no issues..,

8 years ago, still good (as it should be) … just as well as the only one I have sight in!

I have had both cataracts removed whilst on 11mgs of Prednisolone earlier this year with absolutely no problems.

Hi, yes! i had both eye cataract surgeries in January this year.3 weeks apart. I was stunned at how easy the surgery went. Vision improved enormously,…immediately. No PMR consequences. Good luck.

Both eyes within 6 months of each other ..,, all fine…,,still need glasses …. didnt see any difference in colours…..more problems with strong eye drops affecting my stomach!
