Keeping on keeping on......
It amazes me that I can sprint for 400m and i always end up on a mahussive adrenaline high. I do kettlebell squats in the rest period so it's a really good workout. I am also back to doing Pilates before the intervals, this works so well because it really warms and opens the body up for sprinting.
Running and whisky?
After the race I felt really strange: a mixture of runner's high - I couldn't keep still and was fidgeting about (probably still the adrenaline) - and cold and clammy and wanting to collapse.
