Adenoma

My husband has been on cabergolin since April, to shrink a macro benign pituitary adenoma. He's struggling with side effects, that don't seem to concern the consultant. It's bulldozing it's way through our relationship.

So i had the colonoscopy last May and the took the polyp out (2cm) and it was a tubulovillous adenoma polyp.

I had a benign adenoma and had radioactive iodine to shrink it. Few years later had thyroid removed. I'm just wondering why my TSH has gone so high and if any of you have any advice on whether it may be a good idea to see a thyroid specialist. Thanks

Hello, I have been diagnosed with primary hyper parathyroid disease, and am waiting for surgery to remove a 9mm right side adenoma lying dorsal to the mid/lower pole of the right thyroid. During my ultrasound, the consultant asked if I knew what my thyroid autoantibody results were.

hi all, I was diagnosed with a hepatic adenoma measuring 7.5cm and have been referred to Freemans hospital in Newcastle to the liver surgeons. They have put me down for surgery and I’m awaiting a date.

My visit to Brightons Royal Sussex Hospital today has been exhausting but I have come away knowing the outcome of my short synacthen test and having delayed surgery on the pesky pituitary adenoma that was revealed (unexpectedly) by MRI in January.

My endo said he's suspecting adrenal adenoma since my ACTH was low, blood cortisol high, unable to raise thyroid meds or raising and having symptoms. Anyone here diagnosed with it or know anything about it? Thank you 🤗

Also found, following a fall, a CT and MRI was a Pituitary adenoma. First comments on these pages. Cardioversions (2) mid year both failed in less than a week. Referred to an Electrophysiologist who found Atrial Flutter as well as Atrial Fibrillation.

My last colonoscopy was 4 years ago and they found a small tubular adenoma that was benign but I’m scheduled for a follow up next year. The prevailing literature suggests I have a low risk of cancer, but you never know.

At the Bonferroni-corrected significance level, we found that vitamin D levels suggestively decreased the risk of benign parathyroid adenoma (OR = 0·244; 95 % CI 0·074, 0·802; P = 0·0202) in the MR analyses.

Has anyone else been diagnosed with a pituitary adenoma and have any insights as to what to expect? Thanks to whoever has read this and in advance for any replies :-) Edit: I have since found out my tumour is 18mm in diameter.

A 2.5 cm left adrenal nodule with attenuation of 4 Hounsfield units is consistent with an adrenal adenoma and stable. Sigmoid colonic diverticulosis is present. Bones/joints: No abnormal foci of uptake. IMPRESSION: A new 2.3 cm hypodense lesion in hepatic segment 8.

It's probably adenoma she has MNG . So after her stressing 2 weeks and being subjected to biopsy , now we are in search of a Dr . I've been following Save Your Thyroid podcast and we will be calling a few Drs that do RFA on nodules.

It also says I have a left adrenal nodule, likely benign adenoma - please correlate clinically. Neither of this things have been mentioned to me by the rheumatologist. I asked my GP surgery about it.

I don’t have thyroid antibodies just a toxic adenoma. They run my T4 higher around 19- 22 for conversion for T3, my consultant does not prescribe T3.

They come back to me and said that the lesion not changed in size, they are prone to believe it is benign and considerations include FNH/adenoma but malignancy cannot be excluded.

I had a follow up 3 months later with eovist that showed same size, heterogenous "indeterminate lesion, possible adenoma". No one seems to know what this is and I am freaking out. Does anyone have any experience with this? Do I do a biopsy? Straight to surgery?

Polyp biopsy came back saying tubular adenoma. How concerned should I be? I suspect the results are much better than Cancer, but honestly, I've never even heard of adenomas before. Are they usually removed during the colonoscopy or will I now need some type of surgery, or ?

For the whole of my PMR a journey I have reported temple pain and been worried about GCA, now in the seventh year of PMR it seems some of the symptoms I have reported could be caused by the pituitary macro adenoma.

Surgery went well and I was discharged the following day. 12 days post surgery, I had a follow up appointment with my surgeon, my incision was healing nicely and he told me that the pathology results were that the tumour was a benign follicular adenoma.
