adcal d3
I have been trying the
Adcal
d3 for a couple of weeks. I make sure I only take with water. Mid pm so as not to upset my stomach. As soon as I eat in the evening within an hour diarrhoea. I’ve seen if a day that if I don’t take it then my stomach is fine.

I still take

Adcal-D3
Just wondering if anyone takes
Adcal
-D3 prescribed by the GP. I've just been looking at the level of D3 and its 400 I.U. (equivalent to 10 micrograms per tablet). For winter that seems low to me; was wondering if anyone takes extra D3?

ADCal alternatives?
Am prone to UTIs and don't like the
ADCal
tabs as they are grainy/gritty. I take a Soldar Vit D, but what dose is advisable, and what brand, type and dose of calcium does anyone advise please. Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Dexascan shows bone deterioration. Not keen on adcal so looking at Vit D3 supplement. Need to avoid K2.
As now getting into osteoporosis range doc wants me to take
adcal
which I have tried twice before and digestive system just didn't like it. I have a duodenal ulcer (healing) and have to be careful with intake of food or meds as silent reflux. Manage with 20mg daily omeprazole.

osteopenia, Hashimotos and sjogrens
hi, my rheumatologist has prescribed
Adcal
and Alendronic acid. Due to oesphagitis because of Sjögren’s I don’t want to take Alendronic acid. Through research and the help of thyroid UK I now take vitamin D3 MK2 and magnesium.

Timing of pills!
I had no idea that I shouldn’t be taking all my pills, prednisolone, aspirin, atorvastatin, omeprazole and
adcal
-D3 at the same time each morning…… Having now read some comments I will review my timings. I now understand why I don’t feel good in the mornings….
