Supplement
Hi everyone, I was supplementing 6000iu B12 sublingually, but within two weeks of starting my skin broke out in acne and although my bloods are showing 1411 (300-835) and I've now reduced my intake to 2000iu per day, the acne is still with me so I'm wondering if there's another way of taking it that

Acne in your 40's!
Hi, after being taken off the combined pill aged 35, many things went downhill and one of the primary issues I had was acne om my face, neck and even my arms. I have been left with horrible pigmentation and always have to wear make up and cannot show my arms until they get some sun on them and tan. I

Red skin, acne scars. Help needed!
Hello, my skin always was prone to breaking out. But now I notice it's red and scarred. What can I do to make it back to normal skin colour? Would skin lightening cream work? I tried natural aloe and the Clinique redness cream but it's not doing so much. Thanks!

B12 injection & Acne - Please don't answer unless you've had acne as a reaction
Hi! So follow up to my last post, after 3 weeks of horrific acne my skin started to calm down slightly. It's still fairly calm, but my left cheek still has the ugly scarring and leftovers of the breakout. In the past 2 days, the acne seems to be coming back? I don't understand. I was just wondering

Is isotretinoin worth is to cure my acne?
I have struggled with acne since I was 12 years old, now being 21 it's really become an emotional issue and a daily issue that I have to face. I have visited the doctor what seems like 100 times, and tried every solution they came up with, with no luck. They recently referred me to a dermatologist, who

Hi all, I have recently gone T3 only and since I have, I've had really bad acne - red skin on my cheeks with hard lumps. Has anyone experienced this? If so, what have they done about it? Thanks

Have you stopped taking the b12 loading dose because of reactions?
I was diagnosed as b12 deficient about 2 months ago. My doctor first advised me to take tablets from Holland & Barrett which I did. I also began taking the oral spray, and I started to notice the headaches, spasms and tensions go away. However, I still felt really tired so a month later I discussed

Oily skin/acne/dark hair around mouth
I am 40, and in the last year my skin has become extremely oily and I really mean extremely, as opposed to just oily, which it has been since I was about 15, I am being treated for acne around my chin and mouth area with a prescription treatment that seems to be keeping it under control, and tonight,

Exploring experiences of adults living with acne
Hi, I'm conducting a research project exploring the emotional experiences of adults living with acne for my Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. My hope is that the research will inform ways professionals respond when working with people with acne. I'm posting information about the study here, as

Pale spots on face
My girlfriend has pale red spots on face, image is attached to this post, for over 7 months, they become dry (like a scratch or skin damage), then the dry skin falls of and the spot remains. She is 25, feels no pain, absolutely nothing and the spots are located on the left side of the face only, not

Stopping/Coming off Dianette (Co-cyprindol)?
Hi everyone, Hope you're all having a pain free day! I was just wondering if anyone on her could shed a little light on this for me, I came off Dianette/Co-cyprindol in august after almost 10 years of taking it for my PCOS. I was pretty reluctant but had been advised by my endometriosis specialist to

Acne on the back of my Head/Neck
So ive had this bit of acne on the back of my head and neck for since I was about 18/19 years old. I am now 26, my hairdresser noted out to me recently that the hair has stoped growing as much around this area and its probably due to this acne. Its quite concerning to be honest. Just wondering if anyone

Acne and endo
Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with endo and for all my adult life suffered from acne around my chin and neck. Could these two be linked? If so, has anyone found any ways to control it? Xxx

Acne sufferers, this one's for you.
We are looking to speak with a female acne sufferer who has not responded well to antibiotics, possibly because of antibiotic resistance. It is for a newspaper article and would involve a short interview and a photo. Interested? Email lisa@britishskinfoundation.org.uk. Thanks.

B12 & Acne
I've seen some headlines recently about B12 causing acne. I was wondering ........ in the real world, as regular B12 users how many of us have actually suffered spots as a side effect? I know I haven't. Please post your view/experience 😀

Spots and aches
Okay so I'm not sure if this is related to my thyroid but is my main reason for looking into my condition more recently after being managed on just levothyroxine for years. But in the last year I've had these spots appear on my right breast, at first there were only three that wouldn't heal but over
