Pale spots on face

My girlfriend has pale red spots on face, image is attached to this post, for over 7 months, they become dry (like a scratch or skin damage), then the dry skin falls of and the spot remains. She is 25, feels no pain, absolutely nothing and the spots are located on the left side of the face only, not any where on the body.

The pillow she lies on has something in it that she is allergic to, or pillowcase. Does she dribble in her sleep, maybe that.

I am on same page as Olive May, looks like it might be local contact allergy reaction, suggest check with GP who may take a swab to check for possible infection
