subutex
does anyone have any experience of using subutex for restless legs? My mother has had a knee replacement and her restless legs are terribly severe and she is not sleeping at all. She is on progablin and we have taken her off the oxycodine as it was making things much worse, her whole body was shaking

Week 1
I’m a returning C25K runner, progressed really well in 2019 then ill health struck, then Covid, then last year I had to have a stent inserted. So after much procrastination I slipped into my ill fitting running gear, donned my trainers and put on some good music. I have just finished Week 1 and although

Heart Attack Journal #2
I really didn’t think I’d be back here again. After my first MI in August 2019, I really thought that the medication I was on would prevent a repeat of this. However, 3 ½ years on, it’s happened again. Seems that I’m in the small minority (less than 2%) for whom the standard medication doesn’t prevent

Perspiring profusely
Does anybody else suffer with profuse sweating and dull pain in the chest. I started my heart journey in Spain needing stents fitted one year later I was rushed into hospital again with a heart attack where one of my stents in the LAD failed and caused a blood clot. I then moved back to UK as my understanding

Breathlessness advice
I’m at nearly two years post HA (6th May 21) and one stent 😊. I’ve lost weight, fitter than I’ve been in years and eating habits have improved. I acknowledge there is still room for improvement. In the last month I have noticed that I am becoming more breathless when walking or doing jobs like gardening

length of time for biopsy results
Hi, had a partial lung lobectomy and lymph node removal, was told biopsy results would be back in 7-10 days. It’s now been 41 days and I’ve heard nothing. When I contact various people I’m just being told this length of timeframe is not uncommon.. this does not sound right to me… Anyone else had to wait

Ejection fraction 41% post MI ...
I'm just under 3 weeks post STEMI - with 1 stent to the LAD. Echo' a couple of days post procedure showed EF was only 41% .... (I was a late presentation, so myocardial damage was probably greater than it otherwise might have been)... I was previously extremely fit for my age (60's) - with no risk

TIPS Stent Help
Hi I am looking to find someone who is in the same predicament as me. There must be someone out there? I had a TIPS stent fitted in 2015 for severe portal hypertension and variceal bleeding in oesophagus and stomach. Has the TIPS procedure in Liverpool but as I live in Wales, ever since, there seems

Fluid retention after CABG
Hey guys,I was wondering if anyone has suffered from long term water retention after having a CABG (quadruple)? The reason I ask is because my father has been taking 40mg of Furosemide for the past 10 years and his legs have been slowly getting worse. Any help/suggestions would be gratefully appreciated

Sensation in kidney area
Hi, I had kidney stones 2 years ago, and had them removed through surgery. I had a stent fitted, which was an uncomfotable experience. The stent was removed. They removed the stones. However, in the mornings I feel a strange senstaion in my lower back area, sometimes it is like a tingling feeling

Shortage of Pramipexole 0.18mg? UK
Hi fellow sufferers, can I ask please if anyone else in the UK is finding it impossible to get Pramipexole 0.18mg? I didn’t have a problem until late January. My local pharmacy just tell me they cannot get it. The pharmacy attached to my GP surgery offered to prescribe Ropinerole instead and I

Angioplasty
So I had my angiogram today. Told doctor I had read up on PCI v medical therapy and the fact there’s no difference in outcome - so I don’t want a stent unless it’s absolutely necessary. Anyway, angiogram showed 90% stenosis of the LAD (proximal). When Dr showed me how much vessel would be cut off if

kratom issues
my husband started using kratom about 6 months ago because we can’t get cbd where we live. It was working ok but it’s no longer Easy which has been my problem with it from the Start. We will go back to usa in about 6 weeks. Until then his only option is kratom. he can’t use opiods because he’s bipolar

GABA Nutrientsupplement vs Gabapentin and other Prescription Drugs of the same order
I have had RLS for about 6 years. The first medication was Levodopa 100mg as usual. After about 2 years it didn‘t do anything for me anymore. My new medication was Pramipexol 0.088 mg, which for 6 months worked OK. Then continuesly insomnia set in and I was sleeping or better just dosing off for 1-2
